Yuli (Prunus japonica) moistens and can dissipate nodules; entering Gallbladder with wine, it dissolves the knot, Gallbladder Qi descends, and eyes close.

561. Constipation and hard abdomen: Wang Shanfu suffered constipation, abdomen hard as stone, legs cracking and oozing fluid, unable to eat/drink. Diuretics for fullness ineffective. As Nan Jing states: "Obstruction prevents urination, blocking causes vomiting." As Nei Jing states: "Without Yin, Yang cannot transform." Prescribed Zishen Wan: Huangbo (Phellodendron) and Zhimu (Anemarrhena) each 1 liang, washed in wine, roasted, ground; Gui (Cinnamon) 1 qian as guide. Take 200 pills per dose.
