此方取天一生水，地二生火之意。药力小而功用大，久服而取效多。此先贤王道之药，
无过于此。大能生精益血，升降水火。亦治自汗，盗汗，虚损尤妙。
当归（四两，全用，酒浸三日，晒干，切） 白芍药（四两，酒浸一日夜，炒） 川芎
（南大者） 南知母（去毛，同黄柏制） 黄柏（八两，酒浸二两，盐水浸二两，人乳浸二
两，蜜水浸二两） 熟地黄（怀庆者，八两，四两同砂仁二两，入苦酒二壶同煮酒干，去砂
仁，四两同茯苓二两、苦酒二壶同煮，去茯苓）
上为细末，炼蜜为丸梧子大。每服百丸，空心淡盐汤下。作煎药服，尤好。头眩晕加玄
参
吐血，全是血出。是乃火载血上，错经妄行，其脉必芤。身热脉实者，难治；身凉脉微
细者，易治。血证复下恶痢者，其邪易去。
治吐呕血，衄血通治。
犀角 生地黄 芍药 牡丹皮（各等）
每服五钱，水煎，食远服。
一方 加麦门冬、炒黑栀子，或加芩连。面色痿黄，大便黑，尤宜。
又方 童便一茶钟，黄酒一小钟，擂侧柏叶投入。去渣温服，非酒不能行血。惟呕血、
衄血不用酒，以水煎服。
一方 诸见血，童便饮三两钟，甚好。
治吐血。
当归（一钱半） 川芎（一钱） 芍药（一钱半） 生地黄（一钱） 侧柏叶（一钱半）
栀子（炒黑
上水二钟，煎至八分。入京墨汁三茶匙，童便半酒钟，姜汁少许，食远温服。
一方 治吐血不止。用干姜炒黑为末，童便调服。此从治之法。
一方 治暴吐紫血成块，虽多不妨。用四物汤合解毒汤调服。
一方 若吐血，觉胸中气塞，上吐紫血者，桃仁承气汤下。
芒硝 桂（各三钱） 甘草（二钱五分） 大黄（一两） 桃仁（五钱，去皮尖）每服
一两，入姜同煎，热服。
此方取“天一生水，地二生火”之意。药力虽轻但功效显著，长期服用能取得良好疗效。这是先贤推崇的温和治法药物，没有比这更好的了。大能补精益血，调节水火升降。也治疗自汗、盗汗，对于虚损病症尤为奇妙。
当归（四两，全部使用，用酒浸泡三天，晒干，切片） 白芍药（四两，用酒浸泡一天一夜，炒制） 川芎（选用南方产的大者） 南知母（去除毛须，同黄柏炮制） 黄柏（八两，其中二两用酒浸，二两盐水浸，二两人乳浸，二两蜜水浸） 熟地黄（怀庆产的，八两，其中四两同砂仁二两，放入苦酒两壶共同煮至酒干，去掉砂仁；另外四两同茯苓二两、苦酒两壶共同煮，去掉茯苓）
以上药材研为细末，用炼蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用一百丸，空腹时用淡盐汤送服。作为煎药服用效果更佳。若出现头眩晕症状，加玄参。
吐血，完全是血液外溢。这是由于火邪逼迫血液上行，导致经脉错乱妄行，其脉象必定是芤脉。身体发热且脉象实有力的，难治；身体凉爽且脉象微细的，易治。血证患者又伴有下恶痢的，病邪容易祛除。
治疗吐血、呕血、鼻衄血通用方。

另一方：各种出血症，饮用童便三两钟，非常好。
治疗吐血。

This formula takes the meaning of "Heaven generates one to produce Water, Earth generates two to produce Fire." The medicinal power is mild but the efficacy is significant; long-term administration yields abundant results. This is the sovereign method medicine of the sages, and there is none better than this. It greatly nourishes essence and blood, regulating the ascending and descending of Water and Fire. It also treats spontaneous sweating and night sweats, being particularly excellent for deficiency consumptions.
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) (four taels, used entirely, soaked in wine for three days, dried, sliced); White Peony Root (Baishao) (four taels, soaked in wine for one day and night, stir-fried); Szechuan Lovage Rhizome (Chuanxiong) (select large ones from the South); Anemarrhena Rhizome (Zhimu) (remove hairs, processed with Phellodendron Bark); Phellodendron Bark (Huangbai) (eight taels: two taels soaked in wine, two taels in salt water, two taels in human milk, two taels in honey water); Prepared Rehmannia Root (Shudihuang) (from Huaiqing, eight taels: four taels cooked together with Amomum Fruit (Sharen) two taels in two pots of vinegar until dry, remove Sharen; the other four taels cooked together with Poria (Fuling) two taels and two pots of vinegar, remove Fuling).
Grind the above into a fine powder, make pills with refined honey the size of bird seeds. Take one hundred pills each time, swallowed with light salt soup on an empty stomach. Taking it as a decoction is even better. If dizziness occurs, add Scrophularia Root (Xuanshen).
Hematemesis refers entirely to blood extravasation. This is caused by Fire forcing blood upward, leading to chaotic flow in the vessels; the pulse must be Chop-pulse (Kou Mai). Cases with body heat and a Full pulse are difficult to treat; those with a cool body and a Fine-thin pulse are easy to treat. If a patient with blood disorders also suffers from foul diarrhea, the pathogenic factor is easy to eliminate.
Universal formula for treating hematemesis, vomiting blood, and epistaxis.
Rhinoceros Horn (Xijiao)* [Note: Substitute with Buffalo Horn in modern practice] Raw Rehmannia Root (Shengdihuang); Peony Root (Shaoyao); Moutan Cortex (Mudanpi) (equal amounts).
Take five qian each time, decoct in water, take well after meals.
Another prescription: Add Ophiopogon Tuber (Maidong), stir-fried Black Gardenia Fruit (Zhizi), or add Scutellaria Root (Huangqin) and Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian). Especially suitable for patients with sallow complexion and black stool.
Yet another prescription: One cup of child's urine (Tongbian), one small cup of yellow wine, grind Platycladi Cacumen (Cebaiye) and mix. Strain and take warm. Wine is necessary to promote blood circulation. However, for vomiting blood and epistaxis, do not use wine; decoct in water instead.
Another prescription: For various bleeding conditions, drinking three cups of child's urine is very good.
Treatment for hematemesis.
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) (one qian half); Szechuan Lovage Rhizome (Chuanxiong) (one qian); Peony Root (Shaoyao) (one qian half); Raw Rehmannia Root (Shengdihuang) (one qian); Platycladi Cacumen (Cebaiye) (one qian half); Gardenia Fruit (Zhizi) (stir-fried until black).
Add two zhong of water, decoct until eight fen remain. Add three tea spoons of Jingmo Juice (Beacon Ink Juice), half a wine cup of child's urine (Tongbian), and a little Ginger Juice (Jiangzhi). Take warm well after meals.
Another prescription: For continuous hematemesis. Use stir-fried black Dried Ginger (Ganjiang) ground into powder, mixed with child's urine for administration. This is a contrary treatment method.
Another prescription: For sudden expulsion of purple blood clots, even if the volume is large, it is not harmful. Administer Siwu Decoction combined with Jiedu Decoction.
Another prescription: If hematemesis occurs with a sensation of chest qi stagnation and vomiting of purple blood, administer Tao Ren Chengqi Decoction.
Mirabilite (Mangxiao); Cinnamon Twig (Guizhi) (three qian each); Licorice Root (Gancao) (two qian half); Rhubarb Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang) (one tael); Peach Kernel (Taoren) (five qian, remove skin and tips). Take one tael each time, decoct with ginger, take hot.
