Start with 2 pills, add 1 pill on the first day, add 2 pills on the second day, gradually increasing until stools are slightly loose. Then restart from 2 pills and increase again. Take with light salt soup, well after meals. Cycle repeatedly. Stop when accumulation reduces by more than half. In autumn and winter, add 0.5 liang of Houpo, making the total 1 liang 2 qian. If the accumulation is hard and large, if the previous medicine does not reduce it, add 3 qian of Mu Li (Concha Ostreae) calcined in one dose. Do not add for hernia or leukorrhea. If the accumulation fills the whole or half abdomen, first determine what type of accumulation it is. Take the medicine for the corresponding organ's accumulation first; other diseases will heal spontaneously. This treats the root. The same applies to other accumulations. If the patient feels hot upon taking the medicine, add Huanglian. If the patient has shortness of breath, add Houpo. If the patient feels stifled and confused, reduce Rougui.
