157.狐臭：腋下狐臭用蒸饼一个放密陀僧末二钱 急夹在腋下略睡片时，候冷弃去。有人患此二十余年照治断根。屡试不爽。
158.乳破：妇人乳头破裂方用。胭脂和蛤粉用水调敷。又方鸡屎白炒研三钱，每服一钱酒送下。三服愈。
159.乳疮：男女乳上湿疮脓血淋漓成片，痛痒不休此名火革疮。方用蜂壳煅五分 轻粉五分 冰片一分 共研末用银花煎汤调搽两三此结痂。
有人乳头生疮痛不可忍。用生鹿角三分 生甘草一分 共研末用鸡蛋黄一个入药搅匀置铜器中炙温敷之。日二次即愈神验非常。
160.乳痈：一人病乳痈红肿疼痛是男女皆有此症。方用炒白芷 制乳香 制没药 浙贝母 归身各等分 研末每服五钱 酒送一服全消，未破者宜此。
又方用生蒲公英捣烂冲酒服。渣敷乳上略睡片时即愈。
又方:用豆腐店槕上做豆腐淋下之水一桶，入锅熬干成膏。冷透火气厚厚敷之。干即再敷，乳上结块自消。五七次必愈。屡试神效。
161.乳肿：一男子乳忽然臃肿如妇人乳。一医以金银花 蒲公英各一两 花粉 白芥子 各五钱 制附子 木通各一钱 柴胡二钱 白芍 通草 栀子 茯苓各三钱 水煎服获愈。
162.乳汁不通：一妇乳汁不通。方用川贝母 肥知母 牡蛎粉各等分 为末用猪蹄汤调服二钱。即通。此秘方也。
164.乳胀：一妇人乳多发胀。方用红花 归尾 赤芍 牛膝各一钱煎服即愈。
一妇人丧子食乳肿痛难消。方用麦芽炒二两 川芎一钱 当归 白芍各三钱 生地二钱 煎服即消。
165.肺萎：有人胸生一孔，咳嗽则与此孔相应，随有脓血而出，此肺萎也。用党参 生黄芪 当归 金银花各三钱 生甘草 连翘各一钱半 官桂一钱 煎服数次自愈。
166.胸满腹胀：此因脾土衰弱，肝木气旺来克土故。胸满腹胀甚至身面黄肿亦有不黄肿者。方用苍术二斤淘米水泡一日两夜，烧存性。甜酒麴四两烧存性 皂矾一斤醋泡晒干入瓶内煅存性。加平胃散共为末，醋和为丸如桐子大。每服三十丸酒下。米汤亦可。日服两次神效仙方也。
167.帘珠倒挂：胸旁生疮。凡大人小孩胸门两旁各生红白瘰泡湿烂疼痒。每处直长一条连生十余个不等名曰帘珠倒挂。久则难治诸药不治。用端午日人家檐口所挂菖蒲连根切片瓦上焙枯研末香油调搽。五六次即愈。屡试屡验。
168.怔忡：心气怔忡。焦白术时时煎服极效。有人怔忡脾虚常服获愈。
169.火痰：有人心中嘈杂似辣非辣。似饿非饿，似痛非痛，得食暂止。或兼嗳气或兼恶心，乃火动其痰也。方用焦白术四两 炒川连五钱 桔红一两 共为末神麴煮汁为丸如绿豆大。每服五十丸。食远姜汤下立效。
170.哮吼：看法喉内有声而气喘者是也。治哮吼妙法，病发时先一时用凤仙花连根带叶熬出浓汁。乘热蘸汁在背心上用力擦洗。冷则随换。以擦至极热为止。无则用生姜擦之。再用白芥三两 轻粉白芷各三钱 共研为末蜂蜜调匀作饼火上烘热，贴背心第三节骨上。贴过热痛难受，正是拔动病根，务必极力忍耐。勿轻易揭去。冷则将药饼起下烘热再贴。一饼可贴二三日。无论病愈未愈，多备药饼换贴，不可间断。轻则贴一二日。重则贴三四日或五六日。用不再发。有人患哮吼四十余年，贴至数日断根。无论寒热虚实，盐酱醋酒哮吼皆治。神验第一方也。
又方用海螵蛸瓦上焙枯为末。大人五钱 小儿一钱，红糖拌匀调服数次断根。
171.气痛：歌曰。草果元胡索 五灵脂没药 酒调服三钱 一似手拈却。此方名手拈散，治各种气痛其效如神。
172.心胃诸痛：丹参饮治心痛胃腕诸痛多效。妇人更效。丹参一两 檀香一钱 砂仁一钱 水煎服。即愈。
百合汤治心胃痛服诸热药不效者。亦属气痛。虽年久郁气并治。方用百合一两 乌药三钱 水二杯煎七分服。
有人心胃疼痛百药不效。内有虫也。后用生地捣烂取汁冷服。甚妙。吐出一虫而愈。有一人服此药泻下一虫断根。
失笑散治产后心腹绞痛欲死，或血迷心窍，不省人事，或包衣不下，并治心痛血滞作痛。小肠疝气，一切气痛。屡用皆效，真神方也。方用五灵脂三钱 蒲黄二钱各炒研末，好醋煮透，加水连渣服。
173.肝气：专治肝气。方用夏枯草一两 煎水当茶饮服。过四两断根。此药能舒肝气，养肝血，止肝风。故功奏效如神，屡验。终身忌服鸡椿芽。
174.气痛：有心胃疼痛时数年不愈。服姜附散断根。方用酒炒良姜，醋炒香附，共为末。米汤为丸。每服四钱。食远服。凡心胃一切气痛如神。因寒者倍良姜。因气者倍用香附切记。
175.虫痛：心胃虫疾作痛。宜宣通血络。用叶天士先生法.川楝子去核酒炒一钱半 元胡索 五灵脂，桃仁去皮尖研 蒲黄各一钱。水煎服。其效如神。
176.咳嗽痰喘：有妇人痰喘咳嗽，终夜不寐。面浮如盘。后服。用真蚌壳粉，长者为蚌，圆者为蛤。须自取蚌壳研粉，若用蛤粉则无效。新瓦炒，须入青黛少许，用淡腌菜水滴麻油数点，调服二钱神效。或用生山药半碗，捣烂，甘蔗汁半碗和匀炖热服之立止。
177诸般咳嗽.：新定诸般咳嗽方。用炒桔梗 炒荆芥 炒紫菀。饭上蒸一次。再炒。百部饭上蒸一次再炒 白前饭上蒸一次再炒，以上各八两，共磨细末。每服三钱。临时开水调服。如初感风寒者，生姜汤调下。
178.肺萎：肺萎咳嗽，凡感受风寒停留肺中，或劳力内伤以致咳嗽声重，胸膈隐痛，头项强硬不能转侧。此肺痈也。久则鼻流清涕。咳吐脓痰黄色腥秽，重则胸肋胀满，呼吸不及饮食减少脉洪自汗渐至咳吐痰血。寒热往来。形体消瘦。声哑喉痛。转为肺萎，此危症也。。用大瓜蒌一个开一孔内有子多少粒，用杏仁去皮尖照数配入。封好。用黄泥包裹烧红烧至无烟取出。用物盖住候冷去泥。又用川贝母。照瓜蒌子粒数配入共研末。临卧时每用二钱白蜜调匀，灯心煎水送下。九按此肺痈转为肺萎而出此大可方也。
179.咳嗽痰血：用大柿饼一个去子入真青黛一钱 线扎紧饭上蒸熟。临睡时食薄荷汤送下亦验方也。
180.肺萎：独圣散治多年咳嗽肺萎咯血红痰。用白芨三两 为末每服二钱临卧糯米汤下。。台州一吏悯重囚。囚感之曰。吾七犯死罪遭刑拷肺皆伤，得一方用白芨末米饮调服。凌迟剖胸见肺间窍穴数十皆白芨填补色犹未变也。
181.年久咳嗽：年久咳嗽用扁柏叶阴干加红枣七枚煎浓汤代茶时时饮之。忌食荤腥煎炒。另用百合四两冰糖四钱，早晚蒸服。不可间断。轻则十日可愈。重则半月自痊。有老人咳嗽三十余年服此月余脱然除根。灵验无比。切勿轻视。（寒咳胡桃热咳柿蒂柏叶。）
182.呛逆：咳嗽呛逆妙方。用净麻黄 红枣皮 南薄荷各五分 上边桂 紫苏叶 桑白皮 杏仁 大腹皮各四分 炙草六分 水煎服。百发百中。
183.脾虚：一小儿昼夜咳嗽、食少、发黄，此脾虚也。用真山药一味煮熟加糖调服神效之至。
184.虚劳热咳加味四物汤治痨热咳嗽如神。当归 熟地各三钱 川芎 芍药各二钱 柳树根一两酒炒，水煎服。奇效。
185.恶心吞酸：恶心吞酸此脾虚冷也。方用吴萸四钱 滚水泡去苦味，水煎食远服。有人患此多年一服即愈。或加干姜一钱亦可。忌夜食并忌生冷食物。又方：核桃嚼烂姜汤送下。
186.胸满：脾家冷积食后胸满兼治一切痰气。方用桔皮一斤 甘草四两 食盐四两 水五碗，慢火煮干。焙为末。每服三钱白滚水冲服。有人得此痰百药不效。服此胸觉坠下大惊自汗如雨。须臾腹痛遗下数块如铁弹子，臭不可闻。从此胸次廓然其疾顿愈。盖脾之冷积也。
187.损病要诀：一人损病，六脉俱数，声哑，口疮，昼夜发热无间，经云数则脾气虚，此真阴虚也。用四君子加黄芪 淮山 莲肉 白芍 五味子 麦冬去头煎不用，只服二三煎。此为养脾阴密法也。服十剂热退，疮差。后以参苓白术散去头煎，晒干为末，陈米锅焦打糊为丸，绿豆大。每日三钱，每服一钱百沸汤下。
古法治痨以桂枝汤加饴糖，补虚退热。如咳嗽用六君子去参加姜炭 五味 细辛。如吐血以理中汤加木香 当归。或单用炙草 黑姜炭 五味子煎服，亦妙。炙草倍用。
龙牡二加汤。叶天士加减大小建中汤，至于肉消脂涸，吸气喘促，欲咳不能出声，必距按季肋方稍有力，寐醒喉中干涸直至胸脘。此五液俱竭。当以六味丸减丹 泽加秋石 龟胶 牡蛎 湖莲之属。或用海参胶 淡菜胶及燕窝之类。
188.咯血吐血痨咳久不止。方用雪梨膏。雪梨六十只取汁二十杯 生地 茅根 藕汁各十杯 萝卜 麦冬汁各五杯 将六味煎炼入蜂蜜一斤 饴糖八两 姜汁半杯 熬如稀糊则成膏矣。每日用二匙含咽甚妙。
189.天真丸：治一切亡血过多，形槁肢羸，饮食不进，肠胃滑泄。津液枯竭，久服生血养气暖胃驻颜。生羊肉七斤 肉苁蓉十两 当归十一两 山药十两 天冬一斤 四味为末，用无灰酒煮羊肉糜烂。再入黄芪五两 人参末 白术末各二两。捣作薄饼晒干炼蜜为丸。梧桐子大。温酒送下。
190.黑地黄丸：治阳盛阴衰脾胃不足房劳虚损形瘦无力，面多青黄，用此补肾益胃之剂。苍术一斤 油浸熟地一斤 五味子半斤 干姜秋冬一两 夏五钱 春七钱随时而用。共为末枣肉为丸。梧子大。米饮下一百丸。
191.胀而属热脉实而滑者，廓清饮主之。枳壳二钱 姜朴一钱半大腹皮一钱 白芥子五七分 茯苓皮三钱 菜菔子三钱 泽泻二钱 陈皮一钱水煎服。
胀而属七情所发者，宜四七汤主。逍遥散亦主之。半夏三钱 茯苓三钱 厚朴二钱 苏叶一钱 生姜两片 水煎服。
胀而属虚者，脉微弱细小喜按摩，二便利，气衰言微。宜六君子汤，理中汤及八味丸服之。
单腹胀死症或青年壮健起于骤然。若心下坚大如盘者。以桂枝去芍药加麻黄 附子 细辛汤直捣其痰水气之窠穴。续以枳术丸消导之。
192.痰饮吐水：凡食生冷物过度或气虚脾弱不能消化饮食。入胃皆变成水。呕吐无时名曰痰饮。方用赤石脂一斤研末。每服二钱酒送下。服至一斤则终身不吐痰水。又不下痢。此药能补五藏令人肥健。有人痰饮百药不效服此而愈。
193.狂病：化狂丹治终年狂病或持刀杀人骂官。不认六亲见水则喜，见食则怒。此乃心气虚而邪热乘之。痰气侵遂成狂矣。方用高丽参三钱 白术 茯苓各一两 甘草 菖蒲各一钱 半夏 菟丝子各一钱 附子一分 水煎服 。一剂狂定二剂病痊。此方甚妙。
194.疯癫：有妇人疯癫十余年。服至四五十天，心间如有物脱去。再服数十日而愈。方用真川郁金七两 白矾三两 薄荷水为丸，朱砂为衣。如梧子大。每早服一次开水下。盖郁金入心去恶血，白矾化顽痰，朱砂安神故也。愈后须用天王补心丹加减调治方免后患。
又方用藜芦煎水多服甚效，生者煮食炒食俱妙。有妇人癫至四年。每年一发，久则一日发十余次，昏痴不愈。后服此方吐出痰涎二斗，汗如洗，更觉昏困三日痊愈。
195.羊颠：凡痴癫羊癫等症皆痰迷心窍所致。方用青橄榄十斤打破沙锅内熬十数滚去核入石臼内捣烂，再熬，熬至无味去渣。熬成膏用白矾八钱研末加入搅匀。每日早晚取膏三钱开水送下。服完自愈。
196.三消：三消消渴而饮水不止为上消。饮水多而作泻为下消。多食易饥为中消。消渴饮水不止方用三消汤。真台党参 白术 当归 茯苓 生地各一钱 黄柏 知母 黄连 麦冬 天花粉 黄芩各七分 甘草五分 水煎服神效。
又方用苦楝树根新白皮五钱切片，瓦上焙干入麝香少许水煎空心服之。有人口渴不止遇道人传此方，服后下虫四条而愈。愈后人必困顿用党参二两煎水饮之。
如一日饮水至石许者，浮萍捣汁服之。
又有一人多年消渴饮水，百药不效，时发时止服白芍 甘草 等分为末，每用一钱开水送。日三服。七日愈。
久病消渴不止。并治泄泻口渴方。用七味白术散（常以好梨日食效）：白术 党参 茯苓 藿香 干葛根各一钱 炙草五分 水煎服。当茶饮。另用木香三分磨汁兑服屡试如神。
一人每日饮水不止，小便如膏，用茴香炒 苦楝子炒 各一钱研末空心酒调服。
有人一日饮水数斗，上饮下流。用鸡蛋三个去壳搅融烧酒冲开四两。服后即盖被睡下，睡醒禁风一日即愈。
197.食积痞块：有人患食积痞块后用木贼草五钱研末，每服五分开水空心调服。年近者一料即消。年远者不过两料。痊愈屡试如神。
198。噎膈：有人噎食以牛涎丸获愈。方用糯米粉拌老牛涎和为小丸煮熟食之神效。或用牛涎水服亦妙。取牛涎法。以水洗后以盐涂之，少顷涎出。终身戒食牛肉。
157. 狐臭：腋下狐臭，取一个蒸饼，放入二钱密陀僧粉末，迅速夹在腋下，稍睡片刻，待冷却后丢弃。有人患此病二十多年，按此法治疗断根。多次尝试，从未失效。
158. 乳头破裂：妇人乳头破裂的方子。用胭脂和蛤粉，用水调匀敷患处。另一个方子：鸡屎白炒研成末三钱，每次服一钱，用酒送下。服三次痊愈。
159. 乳疮：男女乳房上的湿疮，脓血淋漓成片，痛痒不止，这叫火革疮。方用蜂房煅烧五分，轻粉五分，冰片一分，共研为末，用金银花煎汤调匀涂抹，两三次后结痂。
有人乳头生疮，疼痛难忍。用生鹿角三分，生甘草一分，共研为末，用一个鸡蛋黄加入药中搅匀，放在铜器中加热温敷。每天两次，立即痊愈，神效非凡。
160. 乳痈：一人患乳痈，红肿疼痛，这是男女都有的病症。方用炒白芷、制乳香、制没药、浙贝母、归身各等分，研为末，每次服五钱，用酒送服，一次即可全消，适用于未破溃者。
另一个方子：用生蒲公英捣烂，冲酒服用。药渣敷在乳房上，稍睡片刻即愈。
又一个方子：用豆腐店做豆腐时淋下的水一桶，入锅熬干成膏。冷却去火气后，厚厚敷在乳房上。干了就再敷，乳房上的结块自然消除。五到七次必愈，多次尝试神效。
161. 乳肿：一男子乳房突然肿胀如妇人乳房。一位医生用金银花一两、蒲公英一两、花粉五钱、白芥子五钱、制附子一钱、木通一钱、柴胡二钱、白芍三钱、通草三钱、栀子三钱、茯苓三钱，水煎服，获愈。
162. 乳汁不通：一妇乳汁不通。方用川贝母、肥知母、牡蛎粉各等分，为末，用猪蹄汤调服二钱。乳汁即通。这是秘方。
163. 乳塞：妇人乳孔堵塞疼痛。方用核桃数颗擂碎，用滚酒冲服即愈。
164. 乳胀：一妇人乳房多发胀。方用红花、归尾、赤芍、牛膝各一钱，煎服即愈。
另一妇人丧子后食乳肿痛难消。方用麦芽炒二两、川芎一钱、当归三钱、白芍三钱、生地二钱，煎服即消。
165. 肺萎：有人胸生一孔，咳嗽时与此孔相应，随即有脓血流出，这叫肺萎。用党参三钱、生黄芪三钱、当归三钱、金银花三钱、生甘草一钱半、连翘一钱半、官桂一钱，煎服数次自愈。
166. 胸满腹胀：这是因为脾土衰弱，肝木气旺克制脾土所致。出现胸满腹胀，甚至身体面部黄肿，也有不黄肿的。方用苍术二斤，淘米水泡一天两夜，烧至存性。甜酒曲四两烧至存性，皂矾一斤醋泡晒干入瓶内煅至存性。加入平胃散共为末，醋和为丸如梧桐子大。每次服三十丸，酒送下。米汤也可。每日服两次，神效仙方。
167. 帘珠倒挂：胸旁生疮。凡大人小孩胸门两旁各生红白瘰泡，湿烂疼痒。每处直长一条，连生十余个不等，名叫帘珠倒挂。久了难治，诸药不治。用端午日人家屋檐口所挂菖蒲，连根切片，瓦上焙枯研末，香油调涂。五六次即愈，屡试屡验。
168. 怔忡：心气怔忡。焦白术时时煎服极效。有人怔忡因脾虚，常服获愈。
169. 火痰：有人心中嘈杂，似辣非辣，似饿非饿，似痛非痛，得食暂止。或兼嗳气或兼恶心，这是火动其痰。方用焦白术四两、炒川连五钱、桔红一两，共为末，神曲煮汁为丸如绿豆大。每次服五十丸。饭后姜汤送下立效。

185. 恶心吞酸：恶心吞酸此脾虚冷也。方用吴萸四钱，滚水泡去苦味，水煎食远服。有人患此多年一服即愈。或加干姜一钱亦可。忌夜食并忌生冷食物。又方：核桃嚼烂姜汤送下。
186. 胸满：脾家冷积食后胸满兼治一切痰气。方用桔皮一斤，甘草四两，食盐四两，水五碗，慢火煮干。焙为末。每次服三钱白滚水冲服。有人得此痰百药不效。服此胸觉坠下大惊自汗如雨。须臾腹痛遗下数块如铁弹子，臭不可闻。从此胸次廓然其疾顿愈。盖脾之冷积也。
187. 损病要诀：一人损病，六脉俱数，声哑，口疮，昼夜发热无间，经云数则脾气虚，此真阴虚也。用四君子加黄芪、淮山、莲肉、白芍、五味子、麦冬去头煎不用，只服二三煎。此为养脾阴密法也。服十剂热退，疮差。后以参苓白术散去头煎，晒干为末，陈米锅焦打糊为丸，绿豆大。每日三钱，每服一钱百沸汤下。
古法治痨以桂枝汤加饴糖，补虚退热。如咳嗽用六君子去参加姜炭、五味、细辛。如吐血以理中汤加木香、当归。或单用炙草、黑姜炭、五味子煎服，亦妙。炙草倍用。
龙牡二加汤。叶天士加减大小建中汤，至于肉消脂涸，吸气喘促，欲咳不能出声，必距按季肋方稍有力，寐醒喉中干涸直至胸脘。此五液俱竭。当以六味丸减丹、泽加秋石、龟胶、牡蛎、湖莲之属。或用海参胶、淡菜胶及燕窝之类。
188. 咯血吐血痨咳久不止。方用雪梨膏。雪梨六十只取汁二十杯，生地、茅根、藕汁各十杯，萝卜、麦冬汁各五杯，将六味煎炼入蜂蜜一斤，饴糖八两，姜汁半杯，熬如稀糊则成膏矣。每日用二匙含咽甚妙。
189. 天真丸：治一切亡血过多，形槁肢羸，饮食不进，肠胃滑泄。津液枯竭，久服生血养气暖胃驻颜。生羊肉七斤，肉苁蓉十两，当归十一两，山药十两，天冬一斤，四味为末，用无灰酒煮羊肉糜烂。再入黄芪五两，人参末，白术末各二两。捣作薄饼晒干炼蜜为丸。梧桐子大。温酒送下。
190. 黑地黄丸：治阳盛阴衰脾胃不足房劳虚损形瘦无力，面多青黄，用此补肾益胃之剂。苍术一斤，油浸熟地一斤，五味子半斤，干姜秋冬一两，夏五钱，春七钱随时而用。共为末枣肉为丸。梧子大。米饮下一百丸。
191. 胀而属热脉实而滑者，廓清饮主之。枳壳二钱，姜朴一钱半，大腹皮一钱，白芥子五七分，茯苓皮三钱，菜菔子三钱，泽泻二钱，陈皮一钱水煎服。
胀而属七情所发者，宜四七汤主。逍遥散亦主之。半夏三钱，茯苓三钱，厚朴二钱，苏叶一钱，生姜两片，水煎服。
逍遥散加半夏二钱，生麦芽二钱以泄肝气。
胀而属虚者，脉微弱细小喜按摩，二便利，气衰言微。宜六君子汤，理中汤及八味丸服之。
单腹胀死症或青年壮健起于骤然。若心下坚大如盘者。以桂枝去芍药加麻黄、附子、细辛汤直捣其痰水气之窠穴。续以枳术丸消导之。
胀而属寒者，胃苓散主之。兼小便不利者四苓散以蒜为丸主之。
192. 痰饮吐水：凡食生冷物过度或气虚脾弱不能消化饮食。入胃皆变成水。呕吐无时名曰痰饮。方用赤石脂一斤研末。每次服二钱酒送下。服至一斤则终身不吐痰水。又不下痢。此药能补五藏令人肥健。有人痰饮百药不效服此而愈。
193. 狂病：化狂丹治终年狂病或持刀杀人骂官。不认六亲见水则喜，见食则怒。此乃心气虚而邪热乘之。痰气侵遂成狂矣。方用高丽参三钱，白术、茯苓各一两，甘草、菖蒲各一钱，半夏、菟丝子各一钱，附子一分，水煎服。一剂狂定二剂病痊。此方甚妙。
194. 疯癫：有妇人疯癫十余年。服至四五十天，心间如有物脱去。再服数十日而愈。方用真川郁金七两，白矾三两，薄荷水为丸，朱砂为衣。如梧子大。每早服一次开水下。盖郁金入心去恶血，白矾化顽痰，朱砂安神故也。愈后须用天王补心丹加减调治方免后患。
又方用藜芦煎水多服甚效，生者煮食炒食俱妙。有妇人癫至四年。每年一发，久则一日发十余次，昏痴不愈。后服此方吐出痰涎二斗，汗如洗，更觉昏困三日痊愈。
195. 羊颠：凡痴癫羊癫等症皆痰迷心窍所致。方用青橄榄十斤打破沙锅内熬十数滚去核入石臼内捣烂，再熬，熬至无味去渣。熬成膏用白矾八钱研末加入搅匀。每日早晚取膏三钱开水送下。服完自愈。
196. 三消：三消消渴而饮水不止为上消。饮水多而作泻为下消。多食易饥为中消。消渴饮水不止方用三消汤。真台党参、白术、当归、茯苓、生地各一钱，黄柏、知母、黄连、麦冬、天花粉、黄芩各七分，甘草五分，水煎服神效。
又方用苦楝树根新白皮五钱切片，瓦上焙干入麝香少许水煎空心服之。有人口渴不止遇道人传此方，服后下虫四条而愈。愈后人必困顿用党参二两煎水饮之。
如一日饮水至石许者，浮萍捣汁服之。
又有一人多年消渴饮水，百药不效，时发时止服白芍、甘草等分为末，每用一钱开水送。日三服。七日愈。
久病消渴不止。并治泄泻口渴方。用七味白术散（常以好梨日食效）：白术、党参、茯苓、藿香、干葛根各一钱，炙草五分，水煎服。当茶饮。另用木香三分磨汁兑服屡试如神。
一人每日饮水不止，小便如膏，用茴香炒、苦楝子炒各一钱研末空心酒调服。
有人一日饮水数斗，上饮下流。用鸡蛋三个去壳搅融烧酒冲开四两。服后即盖被睡下，睡醒禁风一日即愈。
197. 食积痞块：有人患食积痞块后用木贼草五钱研末，每次服五分开水空心调服。年近者一料即消。年远者不过两料。痊愈屡试如神。
198. 噎膈：有人噎食以牛涎丸获愈。方用糯米粉拌老牛涎和为小丸煮熟食之神效。或用牛涎水服亦妙。取牛涎法。以水洗后以盐涂之，少顷涎出。终身戒食牛肉。
157. Fetid Axilla: For fetid axilla (body odor in the armpits), take one steamed cake, place two qian of Ledum powder on it, quickly clamp it between the armpits, sleep for a short while, and discard when cool. Someone who suffered from this for over twenty years was cured completely using this method. It has been tried repeatedly without failure.
158. Cracked Nipples: A prescription for cracked nipples in women. Mix cinnabar with clam powder, dilute with water, and apply to the affected area. Another prescription: Roast chicken droppings, grind into powder, three qian per dose. Take one qian each time, washed down with wine. Cured after three doses.
159. Breast Sore: Damp sores on the breasts of men and women, oozing pus and blood in patches, with unceasing pain and itching, are called Huoge Sore. Use calcined honeycomb (five fen), calomel (five fen), and borneol (one fen), grind them together into powder, mix with honeysuckle decoction, and apply. Scabs will form after two or three applications.
For someone with sores on the nipple causing unbearable pain, use raw deer horn (three fen) and raw licorice root (one fen), grind into powder, mix with one egg yolk, heat in a copper vessel, and apply warm. Apply twice daily; it heals immediately with extraordinary efficacy.
160. Mastitis: A person suffering from mastitis presents with redness, swelling, and pain; this condition affects both men and women. Use fried angelica dahurica, processed frankincense, processed myrrh, zhejiang fritillary bulb, and angelica sinensis root body in equal parts, grind into powder, take five qian each time, washed down with wine. The condition resolves completely after one dose; suitable for cases not yet ulcerated.
Another prescription: Mash fresh dandelion, mix with wine, and drink. Apply the residue to the breast and sleep briefly; it heals immediately.
Yet another prescription: Collect one bucket of water drained during tofu making at a tofu shop, boil it in a pot until it becomes a paste. After cooling to remove the "fire" property, apply thickly to the breast. Reapply when dry; lumps on the breast will naturally dissipate. Five to seven applications guarantee a cure, tested repeatedly with miraculous results.
161. Breast Swelling: A man's breast suddenly swelled like a woman's. A physician prescribed honeysuckle (one liang), dandelion (one liang), trichosanthes root (five qian), white mustard seed (five qian), processed aconite (one qian), wood saposhnikovia root (one qian), bupleurum (two qian), white peony root (three qian), tongcao (three qian), gardenia (three qian), and poria (three qian), decocted in water and taken orally, resulting in a cure.
162. Lactation Obstruction: A woman with obstructed lactation. Use Sichuan fritillary bulb, anemarrhena, and oyster shell powder in equal parts, grind into powder, take two qian mixed with pig trotter soup. Lactation resumes immediately. This is a secret formula.
163. Milk Blockage: Women with blocked milk ducts and pain. Crush several walnuts, mix with boiling wine, and drink; it heals immediately.
164. Breast Distension: A woman experiencing frequent breast distension. Use safflower, angelica sinensis tail, red peony root, and achyranthes root, each one qian, decoct and take; it heals immediately.
Another woman experienced painful breast swelling after losing her child. Use fried malt (two liang), ligusticum chuanxiong (one qian), angelica sinensis (three qian), white peony root (three qian), and rehmannia root (two qian), decoct and take; the swelling subsides immediately.
165. Pulmonary Atrophy: A person had a hole in their chest that corresponded with coughing, followed by the discharge of pus and blood. This is pulmonary atrophy. Use codonopsis (three qian), raw astragalus (three qian), angelica sinensis (three qian), honeysuckle (three qian), raw licorice root (one and a half qian), forsythia (one and a half qian), and cinnamon twig (one qian), decoct and take several times for self-healing.
166. Chest Fullness and Abdominal Distension: This is caused by weak spleen earth being overcome by flourishing liver wood. Symptoms include chest fullness, abdominal distension, and even yellow swelling of the body and face, though some do not swell yellowly. Use coptis chinensis rhizome (two jin), soaked in rice washing water for one day and two nights, then roasted to retain its nature. Sweet yeast (four liang) roasted to retain its nature, and alum (one jin) soaked in vinegar, dried, and calcined in a bottle to retain its nature. Add Pingwei San, grind into powder, mix with vinegar to make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take thirty pills each time, washed down with wine. Rice soup is also acceptable. Take twice daily; this is a miraculous divine prescription.
167. Curtain Pearl Inverted Hanging: Sores on the side of the chest. Adults and children develop red and white scrofulous blisters on both sides of the chest door, which become wet, rotten, painful, and itchy. Each line grows straight, with more than ten connected, named Curtain Pearl Inverted Hanging. If prolonged, it is difficult to treat and resists various medicines. Use calamus hanging on eaves on the Dragon Boat Festival, slice with roots, roast on tiles until charred, grind into powder, mix with sesame oil, and apply. Heals in five to six applications, tested repeatedly with success.
168. Palpitations: Heart qi palpitations. Decoct scorched atracylodes macrocephala rhizome frequently; it is extremely effective. Someone with palpitations due to spleen deficiency was cured by regular use.
169. Fire Phlegm: A person feels restless in the heart, neither spicy nor non-spicy, neither hungry nor non-hungry, neither painful nor non-painful, temporarily relieved by eating. Accompanied by belching or nausea, this is fire stirring phlegm. Use scorched atracylodes macrocephala rhizome (four liang), fried coptis chinensis rhizome (five qian), and tangerine peel (one liang), grind into powder, use fermentum medicatum juice to make pills the size of mung beans. Take fifty pills each time, washed down with ginger soup after meals for immediate effect.
170. Asthma and Hoarseness: Characterized by sounds in the throat and wheezing. A wonderful method for treating asthma: one hour before an attack, boil fresh impatiens balsamina (roots and leaves) to extract concentrated juice. While hot, dip in the juice and scrub the back vigorously. Replace when cold. Scrub until extremely hot. If unavailable, use fresh ginger. Then, use white mustard seed (three liang), calomel (three qian), and angelica dahurica (three qian), grind into powder, mix with honey to make cakes, heat on fire, and apply to the third vertebra of the back. If too hot and painful, endure it firmly as it pulls out the root of the disease. Do not remove easily. When cold, remove the cake, reheat, and reapply. One cake lasts two to three days. Prepare many cakes to replace continuously regardless of cure status. Mild cases last one to two days; severe cases three to six days. Prevents recurrence. Someone with forty years of asthma was cured after a few days of application. Treats all types of asthma regardless of cold, heat, excess, or deficiency. The most miraculous first prescription.
Another prescription: Calcined cuttlefish bone powder. Adults take five qian, children one qian, mix with brown sugar and take orally several times to cure permanently.
171. Qi Pain: Song says: Tsaoko cardamom, cyperus rotundus, spirit lipid, and frankincense, mixed with wine and taken three qian, relieves pain as if picked up by hand. This prescription is named Shounian San, treating various qi pains with miraculous efficacy.
172. Various Heart and Stomach Pains: Danshen Yin treats heart and stomach pains with much efficacy, especially in women. Salvia miltiorrhiza root (one liang), sandalwood (one qian), amomum fruit (one qian), decoct in water and take; heals immediately.
Baihe Tang treats heart and stomach pains where hot medicines failed. Also belongs to qi pain. Treats long-standing stagnant qi. Use lily bulb (one liang), lidiastrum fructus (three qian), two cups of water, decoct to七分 and take.
Someone with heart and stomach pain resistant to hundred medicines had parasites inside. Later, crush raw rehmannia root, extract juice, take cold; very wonderful. Vomited one parasite and healed. Another person passed one parasite after taking this medicine and was cured permanently.
Shixiao San treats postpartum heart and abdominal cramping pain wanting death, or blood confusing the heart orifice, unconsciousness, or retained placenta, and also treats heart pain due to blood stasis. Treats small intestine hernia and all qi pains. Tested repeatedly with efficacy, truly a divine prescription. Use spirit lipid (three qian) and pollen typhae (two qian), stir-fry and grind separately, boil thoroughly in good vinegar, add water, and take with residue.
173. Liver Qi: Specifically treats liver qi. Use prunella spike (one liang), decoct in water and drink as tea. Over four liang cures permanently. This herb soothes liver qi, nourishes liver blood, and stops liver wind. Thus, it works miraculously and is verified repeatedly. Lifelong avoidance of Toona sinensis buds is required.
174. Qi Pain: Heart and stomach pain lasting several years without healing. Take Jiangfu San to cure permanently. Use alcohol-fried high ginger, vinegar-fried cyperus rotundus, grind into powder, make pills with rice soup. Take four qian each time after meals. Effective for all heart and stomach qi pains. Increase high ginger for cold causes; increase cyperus rotundus for qi causes. Remember this.
175. Parasite Pain: Heart and stomach pain caused by parasites. Should promote blood collaterals. Use Mr. Ye Tianshi's method:去掉核的川楝子 fried in wine (one and a half qian), cyperus rotundus, spirit lipid, peach kernel peeled and ground, and pollen typhae (each one qian). Decoct in water and take. Its efficacy is miraculous.
176. Cough with Phlegm and Wheezing: A woman with phlegm wheezing and coughing, unable to sleep all night. Face swollen like a plate. Later took: Real concha tridacnae powder. Long ones are tridacna, round ones are clam. Must grind own shells; clam powder is ineffective. Stir-fry on new tile, add a little indigo naturalis, mix with a few drops of sesame oil in light pickled vegetable water, take two qian; miraculous effect. Or use half a bowl of raw Chinese yam, mash, mix with half a bowl of sugarcane juice, stew hot and take; stops immediately.
177. Various Coughs: Newly determined prescription for various coughs. Use fried platycodon root, fried schizonepeta spike, and fried aster root. Steam once over rice, then fry again. Stemona root steam once over rice then fry, and cephalanoplos root steam once over rice then fry. Each above eight liang, grind fine. Take three qian each time, mix with boiling water. If initially affected by wind-cold, take with ginger soup.
178. Pulmonary Atrophy: Pulmonary atrophy cough, caused by wind-cold staying in the lungs or internal injury from labor, leading to heavy cough, hidden pain in chest and diaphragm, stiffness in head and neck unable to turn. This is lung abscess. Prolonged leads to clear nasal discharge. Coughing up yellow, foul-smelling purulent sputum; severe cases have chest and rib fullness, breathing difficulty, reduced appetite, surging pulse, spontaneous sweating, gradually coughing up bloody phlegm. Alternating cold and fever. Emaciation. Hoarse voice and sore throat. Transforms into pulmonary atrophy, a critical condition. Use one large trichosanthes fruit, make a hole, insert apricot kernels according to the number of seeds inside. Seal well. Wrap in yellow mud, roast until no smoke appears, remove, cover to cool, remove mud. Add Sichuan fritillary bulb according to the number of trichosanthes seeds, grind together into powder. Before bed, take two qian mixed with white honey, send down with juncus effusus decoction. Note: This is a major prescription for lung abscess transforming into pulmonary atrophy.
179. Cough with Blood-tinged Sputum: Use one large persimmon cake, remove seeds, insert one qian real indigo naturalis, tie tightly with thread, steam over rice until cooked. Eat before sleep, send down with mint soup; also a verified prescription.
180. Pulmonary Atrophy: Dusheng San treats chronic cough, pulmonary atrophy, and hemoptysis with red sputum. Use bletilla striata rhizome (three liang), grind into powder, take two qian before sleep with glutinous rice soup. An official in Taizhou pitied a heavy prisoner. The prisoner was moved and said: I committed capital crimes seven times, endured torture, and my lungs were injured. I got a prescription using bletilla striata powder mixed with rice drink. Upon execution by lingchi, cutting open the chest, dozens of holes in the lungs were filled with bletilla striata, color unchanged.
181. Chronic Cough: For chronic cough, use dried biota tops, add seven red dates, decoct into thick soup, drink as tea frequently. Avoid meat, fish, fried foods. Additionally, use lily bulb (four liang) and rock sugar (four qian), steam morning and evening. Do not interrupt. Mild cases heal in ten days; severe cases in half a month. An elderly person with thirty years of cough was cured after one month of taking this. Extremely spiritual and effective. Do not underestimate. (Cold cough: walnut; Heat cough: persimmon stem, biota tops.)
182. Choking and Regurgitation: Wonderful prescription for cough, choking, and regurgitation. Use clean ephedra herb, red date skin, and southern mint, each five fen; cassia twig, perilla leaf, mulberry bark, apricot kernel, and betel nut peel, each four fen; and roasted licorice root, six fen. Decoct in water and take. One hundred percent effective.
183. Spleen Deficiency: A child coughing day and night, eating little, yellow hair, this is spleen deficiency. Use genuine Chinese yam alone, cook thoroughly, mix with sugar, and take; extremely miraculous.
184. Deficiency Consumption with Hot Cough: Modified Siwu Tang treats consumption hot cough miraculously. Angelica sinensis root and prepared rehmannia root, each three qian; ligusticum chuanxiong and peony root, each two qian; willow root (one liang) fried in wine, decoct in water and take. Miraculous efficacy.
185. Nausea and Acid Regurgitation: Nausea and acid regurgitation are due to spleen deficiency and cold. Use evodia fruit (four qian), soak in boiling water to remove bitterness, decoct in water, take away from meals. Someone suffering for years healed after one dose. Can add dried ginger (one qian). Avoid night food and raw/cold foods. Another prescription: Chew walnuts thoroughly, send down with ginger soup.
186. Chest Fullness: Cold accumulation in spleen causing chest fullness after eating, also treating all phlegm and qi. Use tangerine peel (one jin), licorice root (four liang), salt (four liang), five bowls of water, boil slowly until dry. Roast into powder. Take three qian each time, wash down with boiling water. Someone with this phlegm resisted hundred medicines. After taking this, felt chest dropping, surprised, sweating like rain. Suddenly abdominal pain, passed several pieces like iron pellets, extremely foul smelling. From then on, chest cleared, disease instantly healed. This is spleen cold accumulation.
187. Key Points for Consumptive Disease: A person with consumptive disease, six pulses all rapid, hoarse voice, mouth ulcers, fever day and night without pause. Classic says rapid indicates spleen qi deficiency, this is true yin deficiency. Use Sijunzi Tang plus astragalus, chinese yam, lotus seed, white peony root, schisandra berry, and ophiopogon tuber. Discard first decoction, only take second and third decoctions. This is a secret method for nourishing spleen yin. After ten doses, fever recedes, ulcers improve. Later use Shenling Baizhu San, discard first decoction, dry and grind into powder, make pills with old rice pan crust paste, size of mung bean. Take three qian daily, one qian each time with boiling water.
Ancient methods treat consumption with Guizhi Tang plus maltose, tonifying deficiency and reducing fever. For cough, use Liujunzi Tang plus charcoalized ginger, schisandra berry, and asarum. For hematemesis, use Lizhong Tang plus amomum fruit and angelica sinensis. Or simply use roasted licorice root, charcoalized black ginger, and schisandra berry decocted and taken; also wonderful. Double the amount of roasted licorice root.
Longmu Erjia Tang. Ye Tianshi's modified Da Jianzhong Tang and Xiao Jianzhong Tang. When flesh wastes and fat dries up, inhaling causes wheezing, wanting to cough but unable to make sound, must press hypochondrium slightly to gain strength, waking up with dry throat extending to chest and epigastrium. This is exhaustion of five fluids. Should use Liuwei Dihuang Wan minus moutan cortex and alisma, add lithi carbon, turtle plastron, oyster shell, and lake lotus seed. Or use sea cucumber gelatin, mussel gelatin, and bird's nest.
188. Hemoptysis, Hematemesis, and Chronic Consumption Cough: Prescription Xueli Gao. Juice from sixty snow pears (twenty cups), raw rehmannia root, imperata rhizome, and lotus root juice (each ten cups), radish and ophiopogon tuber juice (each five cups). Boil these six ingredients, refine, add one jin honey, eight liang maltose, half cup ginger juice, boil into thin paste to form gao. Take two spoons daily, hold in mouth and swallow; very wonderful.
189. Tianzhen Wan: Treats all conditions of excessive blood loss, emaciated limbs, poor appetite, intestinal sliding diarrhea. Exhausted fluids, long-term use generates blood, nourishes qi, warms stomach, and preserves youth. Raw mutton (seven jin), cistanche deserticola (ten liang), angelica sinensis (eleven liang), chinese yam (ten liang), ophiopogon tuber (one jin). Grind four ingredients into powder, boil mutton in non-intoxicating wine until soft. Add astragalus (five liang), ginseng powder, and atracylodes macrocephala rhizome powder (each two liang). Pound into thin cakes, dry, refine with honey to make pills, size of tung tree seeds. Send down with warm wine.
190. Heidi Huang Wan: Treats yang excess and yin deficiency, insufficient spleen and stomach, sexual fatigue, deficiency damage, emaciation, weakness, green-yellow complexion. Use this to tonify kidney and benefit stomach. Atractylodes lancea rhizome (one jin), oil-soaked prepared rehmannia root (one jin), schisandra berry (half jin), dried ginger (one liang in autumn/winter, five qian in summer, seven qian in spring) used according to season. Grind into powder, make pills with jujube flesh, size of tung tree seeds. Take one hundred pills with rice drink.
191. Distension with Heat, Pulse Solid and Slippery: Kuqing Yin governs. Aurantium fruit (two qian), magnolia bark (one and a half qian), areca seed (one qian), white mustard seed (five to seven fen), poria cocos skin (three qian), radish seed (three qian), alisma (two qian), tangerine peel (one qian). Decoct in water and take.
Distension caused by seven emotions: Siqi Tang governs. Xiaoyao San also governs. Pinellia ternata tuber (three qian), poria cocos (three qian), magnolia bark (two qian), perilla leaf (one qian), fresh ginger (two slices). Decoct in water and take.
Xiaoyao San plus pinellia ternata tuber (two qian) and raw malt (two qian) to drain liver qi.
Distension with deficiency: Pulse weak, minute, likes massage, normal urination and defecation, qi decline, faint speech. Liujunzi Tang, Lizhong Tang, and Bawei Wan govern.
Single abdominal distension is a fatal sign, or sudden onset in young robust people. If epigastrium hard and large like a plate, use Guizhi Tang minus white peony root plus ephedra herb, aconite root, and asarum to directly attack the nest of phlegm-water and qi. Follow with Zhiju Wan to digest and guide.
Distension with cold: Weiling San governs. With incomplete urination, Siling Wan made into pills with garlic governs.
192. Phlegm-Fluid Vomiting Water: Excessive consumption of raw/cold food or qi deficiency/spleen weakness failing to digest food. Food entering stomach turns into water. Vomiting at any time is named Phlegm-Fluid. Use halloysitum rubrum (one jin), grind into powder. Take two qian each time, washed down with wine. Taking up to one jin prevents vomiting phlegm-fluid for life and prevents dysentery. This medicine tonifies five zang organs, making one fat and strong. Someone with phlegm-fluid resisted hundred medicines, healed by taking this.
193. Mania: Huakuang Dan treats year-round mania or holding knife killing, cursing officials. Does not recognize relatives, happy seeing water, angry seeing food. This is heart qi deficiency allowing evil heat to invade. Phlegm-qi invades thus becoming mania. Use Korean ginseng (three qian), atracylodes macrocephala rhizome and poria cocos (each one liang), licorice root and agastache rhizome (each one qian), pinellia ternata tuber and cuscuta seed (each one qian), aconite root (one fen). Decoct in water and take. One dose stabilizes mania, two doses cure disease. This prescription is very wonderful.
194. Madness: A woman with madness for over ten years. Took for forty to fifty days, felt something leaving the heart. Took for dozens of more days and healed. Use genuine curcuma aromatica rhizome (seven liang), alum (three liang), mint water to make pills, cinnabar coating, size of tung tree seeds. Take once early morning with boiling water. Curcuma enters heart to remove bad blood, alum transforms stubborn phlegm, cinnabar calms spirit. After healing, must use Tianwang Buxin Dan modified to regulate and avoid future trouble.
Another prescription: Decoct veratrum nigrum in water, take much; very effective. Raw boiled or fried eating is also wonderful. A woman with epilepsy for four years, once a year, later ten times a day, confused and not healing. Later took this prescription, vomited two dou of phlegm-saliva, sweated like washing, felt more confused for three days then healed.
195. Epilepsy: All dementia, epilepsy, etc., are caused by phlegm confusing the heart orifice. Use ten jin green olives, break, boil in clay pot ten-plus boils, remove pits, pound in stone mortar, boil again until tasteless, remove residue. Boil into paste, add alum powder (eight qian), mix evenly. Take three qian paste morning and evening with boiling water. Heal after finishing.
196. Three Xiao (Wasting-Thirst): Wasting-thirst with endless drinking is Upper Xiao. Drinking much and having diarrhea is Lower Xiao. Eating much and easy hunger is Middle Xiao. Endless drinking wasting-thirst prescription: Sanxiao Tang. Genuine Taizhou codonopsis, atracylodes macrocephala rhizome, angelica sinensis, poria cocos, raw rehmannia root (each one qian), phellodendron bark, anemarrhena rhizome, coptis chinensis rhizome, ophiopogon tuber, trichosanthes root, scutellaria baicalensis root (each seven fen), licorice root (five fen). Decoct in water and take; miraculous effect.
Another prescription: Slice five qian fresh white bark of melia azedarach root, roast on tile until dry, add a little musk, decoct in water, take on empty stomach. Someone with endless thirst met a Daoist passing this prescription, passed four worms after taking and healed. After healing, person must be exhausted, use codonopsis (two liang) decocted in water to drink.
If drinking one shi per day,捣汁 floating duckweed juice and take.
Another person with years of wasting-thirst drinking, resisted hundred medicines, intermittent, take white peony root and licorice root equal parts, grind into powder, take one qian with boiling water. Three times daily. Healed in seven days.
Chronic wasting-thirst not stopping. Also treats diarrhea and thirst. Use Qiwei Baizhu San (often effective eating good pear daily): atracylodes macrocephala rhizome, codonopsis, poria cocos, patchouli, dried kudzu root (each one qian), roasted licorice root (five fen). Decoct in water and take. Drink as tea. Additionally, grind three fen amber, mix juice, take; tested repeatedly with miraculous effect.
One person drinking endlessly daily, urine like paste, use fried fennel and fried melia azedarach seed (each one qian), grind into powder, take with wine on empty stomach.
Someone drinking several dou daily, drinking upper flowing lower. Use three eggs, remove shell, beat, dissolve in four liang burning wine. Take, cover with quilt and sleep, wake up avoid wind for one day, then healed.
197. Food Accumulation and Masses: Someone with food accumulation masses used equisetum ramosissimum herb (five qian), grind into powder, take five fen with boiling water on empty stomach. Recent cases resolve with one dose. Old cases no more than two doses. Cured, tested repeatedly with miraculous effect.
198. Dysphagia: Someone with dysphagia healed by ox saliva pills. Mix sticky rice flour with old ox saliva, make small pills, cook thoroughly and eat; miraculous effect. Or take ox saliva water; also wonderful. Method to get ox saliva: Wash with water, apply salt, saliva comes out shortly. Lifelong avoidance of beef meat.
199. Dysphagia: Someone with dysphagia and dry stool, take pure cow milk with little white sugar, heat occasionally and drink; healed.
