It describes "Meizhi" as ten-thousand-year toads with eight red characters on their heads, caught on the fifth day of the fifth month; drawing with feet creates rivers, with hands avoids weapons. It mentions seeing children riding carriages in mountains, aged seven or eight inches, as Meizhi, consuming which grants immortality. These matters defy logic yet transcend the mundane.)

It posits that transformation is the essence of heaven and earth; without transformation, the Dao is not revealed, and without the Dao, generation does not occur. Humans, imbued with harmonious qi, transform into humans; things, imbued with mixed qi, transform into objects. Understanding this allows self-cultivation and aiding others, beyond merely observing yin-yang dynamics. Attributed to Song Qiqiu previously, now clarified as Tanzi's work.)
*Baihutong* (White Tiger Conference, 2 volumes. Preface: Ban Gu of Han compiled it. In the fourth year of Jianchu under Emperor Zhang, scholars gathered at White Tiger Hall to discuss the Five Classics. Ban Gu compiled the proceedings. He was literate at nine, broad in learning, and possessed the talent of ancient historians. Zhu Xi rated him: Sima Qian's style is open, Ban Gu's is dense. It is a major classic for studying classics, though hard to obtain. The lower volume's chapters on nature, temperament, and lifespan reveal insights missing in medical classics, constituting a great path of health preservation.)
