Commentary states: In cases of falling or impact causing joint dislocation where reduction is not possible, it is imperative to urgently palpate with hands and restore the joint to its anatomical position. Subsequently, medicinal nourishment should be applied to ensure bones are aligned and tendons flexible, maintaining the normal flow of Ying-Wei (Nutritive and Defensive Qi) and Blood-Qi. This method is supplemented by external application of plasters and massage.
For treating various bone dislocations and replenishing traumatic injuries: Dihuang San (Rehmannia Powder) Formula
Sheng Gan Di Huang (Baked Dried Rehmanniae Radix), Guizhi (Cinnamon Twig with bark removed), Gan Jiang (Pao Processed Dried Ginger), Xiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome), Gancao (Roasted and chopped Licorice Root), Danggui (Sliced and fried Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Shaoyao (Peony Root). Each at one qian (approx. 3-5g depending on era standard, here likely liang for bulk but text says 'ge yi' implying equal parts, context suggests small dose powder).
The above seven herbs are pounded into a fine powder. Take two qianbi (measure) per dose, mixed with warm wine, taken at any time.
For treating various bone dislocations and replenishing traumatic injuries: Dadou Tang (Soybean Decoction) Formula
Dadou (Stir-fried Soybean Seed with skin removed), Dahuang (Rhubarb Root), Sheng Gan Di Huang (Baked Dried Rehmanniae Radix), Guizhi (Cinnamon Twig with bark removed). Each at one liang (approx. 30-50g).
