初起如赤豆，渐渐微槁，日久破裂钻出筋头，蓬松枯槁如花之蕊，多生于手足胸乳之间

之，或为丸常服；外用铜钱一个套疣上，以草纸穣代艾作七纠灸之，次日即落。如疣大者则
将草纸蘸湿套在疣上，或灸十四纠，断无不下之理。然不可专用外治，虽暂愈亦必复发。

瘴疽者因受山岚瘴气，伏藏筋骨之间，初发黑色，顽痹如木石，重按之微痛。急用不换

防风、蝉衣、柴胡主之，服一、二剂，外以三豆散敷之，则红退肿消而愈。如溃者用内托散

痘后发疮痒痛者，三豆散敷之妙。
痘后遍身疮癣，如疥如癞，渐次延开，脂水浸淫结痂成片，名痘风疮。先用升麻葛根汤

失治，脓血淋漓，浸淫溃烂，肌无完肤，即成痘癞，须以大补气血为主，兼以解毒防风汤、
苦参丸随宜酌用。
痘后发丹瘤红肿作痛，手不可近，流移上下，过心肾则死，小柴胡加生地黄汤主之，外
用砭法砭去恶血自消。
痘后发斑，但红不肿不痛者是也，化斑汤主之。
升麻葛根汤
葛根 升麻 白芍 甘草（各等分）
上水一盏，煎七分去渣，服无时。
解毒防风汤
防风（二钱） 地骨皮（三钱） 生黄 荆芥穗 牛蒡子（各一钱）
上煎服，或加升麻五分。
苦参丸
苦参（一两） 白蒺藜 何首乌 牛蒡子 荆芥穗（各五钱）

小柴胡汤

(Kujinjian, also known as "Withered Tendon Arrow," is an alias for verruca.)
Initially appearing like a red bean, it gradually becomes slightly withered. After a long time, it ruptures and protrudes tendon-like heads, becoming fluffy and withered like the stamen of a flower. It mostly occurs between the hands, feet, chest, and breasts. It can be tied at the root with thread, or processed into pills for regular oral administration. For external treatment, place a copper coin over the verruca, use the core of straw paper instead of moxa for seven moxibustion cones (zhuang), and it will fall off the next day. If the verruca is large, soak the straw paper in water before placing it over the verruca, or perform fourteen moxibustion cones; there is no reason it would not fall off. However, one cannot rely solely on external treatment; although temporary healing may occur, recurrence is inevitable.

Zhangju (Miasma Carbuncle) results from contracting mountain miasma qi, which lies dormant between the sinews and bones. Initially, it presents as black, hard, and numb like wood or stone, with slight pain upon heavy pressure. Urgently use Buhuanjin Zhengqi San (Golden Change Upright Qi Powder) for treatment. This condition is difficult to treat; one must use Bianfa (Stone Needle Therapy) to release evil blood, then decoct Shu Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Root, 3 qian) and Shengjiang (Fresh Ginger, 5 qian) for oral administration, followed by treatment according to the regulations for Yin Ju (Yin Abscess).

Add five slices of Shengjiang (Fresh Ginger) and two Hongzao (Jujubae Fructus) to the above, decoct in water, and take orally.
It begins as red spots, which subsequently turn black. Small lesions resemble millet beans, while large ones resemble plums or peaches. They appear in不定 (indeterminate) locations, with pain radiating to the heart. Upon rupture, pus flows out resembling bean juice. Administer Buhuanjin Zhengqi San combined with Xianfang Huoming Yin (Immortal Life Elixir) orally. Delayed treatment endangers life.

Children who take excessive cooling medicines during measles suffer from coagulated blood and stagnant qi. Toxin erupts due to deficiency, presenting as diffuse swelling without redness or pain. Physicians often attribute this to residual fire toxin after measles. However, some cases do arise from residual fire toxin; these present with definite redness, swelling, and pain, accompanied by fever and thirst. In such cases, clearing and resolving methods are necessary. Use Bai Du Tang (Toxin-Resolving Decoction) added with Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Chanyi (Cicadae Periostracum), and Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix) as the main formula. Take one or two doses. Externally apply Sandou San (Three Beans Powder); redness will recede, swelling will subside, and recovery will follow. If ulcerated, use Neituo San (Internal Support Powder) and apply Dongtian Gao (Cave Heaven Ointment).
For sores itching and hurting after measles, applying Sandou San is excellent.
When sores and tinea appear all over the body after measles, resembling scabies or leprosy, spreading gradually with exudate oozing and crusting into patches, it is named Dou Feng Chuang. First, administer Shengma Gegen Tang (Kudzu and Cimicifuga Decoction) for one or two doses. If neglected, pus and blood flow profusely, erosion and ulceration spread, leaving no intact skin, forming Dou Lai. Treatment must focus primarily on greatly tonifying Qi and Blood, supplemented by Jiedu Fangfeng Tang (Detoxifying Saposhnikovia Decoction) and Kushen Wan (Sophora Pill) as appropriate.
Dan Liu (Dan Nodule) appearing after measles presents with redness, swelling, and pain, intolerable to touch, migrating up and down. If it reaches the Heart or Kidney, death ensues. Treat with Xiao Chaihu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction) added with Sheng Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix). Externally, use Bianfa (Stone Needle Therapy) to remove evil blood, which will resolve spontaneously.
Macules appearing after measles are characterized by redness without swelling or pain. Treat with Huaban Tang (Macule-Transforming Decoction).
