The Kidney is the official responsible for strength. It stores Zhi (willpower). The great desire between men and women, if not directly fulfilled, causes ruined semen and blood to contend and remain stagnant in the middle pathway, thereby forming Biandu (groin abscess). The junction between the legs and the lower abdomen is the pathway where Jing-Qi (essence-qi) emerges. Sometimes, visual stimuli arouse the heart/mind, or nocturnal emission occurs without actual release. Since Yin-Yang union cannot be achieved, and emotions/thoughts cannot be forgotten and extinguished, Essence and Blood become inter-stagnant. If this does not result in swelling and nodulation, it would be rare. The location of Biandu is neither above in the abdomen nor below in the legs, but precisely in the intermediate space. I have often marveled at the ignorance of the secular world: upon sensing symptoms of Biandu, they invariably attribute it to Heat attacking, often wearing thin clothes and exposing their feet, allowing Cold pathogens to take advantage. Consequently, Heat fails to dissipate. Day after day, ruined semen and old blood accumulate and knot further. They fail to realize that the whole body's Zongjin (convergent sinews) connect upward to the root of the tongue and gather downward at the genitalia. When sinews are affected by Cold, they contract; when contracted, they retract, potentially leading to kyphosis (hunchback) with inability to extend. At such times, even using various medicines together may yield little effect, let alone those who employ Cold-Cooling methods. The treatment method should involve dispersing Cold and benefiting Heat, draining Kidney pathogens, and invigorating the blood vessels; this is the shortcut. Besides this, Qi stagnation in the elderly may also occur.

Take on an empty stomach in the morning. Fast from food. By lunchtime, see toxin expelled in urine. Then use congee for regulation. This prescription is highly effective.
Treating Biandu:
Use Chutao (Cornus Officinalis Fruit? Note: Text says 'Chutao', likely Cornus or similar fruit, 32 units). Boil in wine and take. For severe illness, two doses are intolerable. If no pus, taking it allows dissipation via Qi.

Take on an empty stomach. Divide the previous medicine into three doses.
