The fluids generated by the five Zang organs become dry when exposed to heat, and overflow when exposed to cold. Clear rhinorrhea from the nose, even unceasing, occurs because the Lung organ has been invaded by cold pathogenic factors, causing cold qi to ascend to the nasal orifice. Therefore, this text mentions only nasal discharge, which aligns with the statement in *Xuan Ming Wu Qi* (Manifestation of the Five Qi) that "the Lung produces mucus."
Formula: Wuweizi Tang (Schisandra Decoction), treating clear rhinorrhea from the nose.
Herbs: Wuweizi (Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis), Shanyu (Rhizoma Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae, i.e., Rhizoma Dioscoreae Oppositae; each 1 liang); Banxia (Rhizoma Pinelliae Praeparatum, washed with hot water to remove slipperiness, 3 fen); Lurong (Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, soaked in wine overnight, fried with butter); Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, soaked in rice water overnight, cut and stir-fried, each 1 fen); Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, roasted until cracked, skin and umbilical scar removed); Niuxi (Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, soaked in wine, sliced and dried); Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, roasted and cut); Binglang (Semen Arecae, cut); Shugan Dihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, dried; 3 fen). The above herbs are coarsely crushed and sifted. Each dose is 2 qianbi, boiled in 1 zhan of water until reduced to 0.7 zhan, strained, and taken warm on an empty stomach.

Wrap the powder and insert into the nostrils, and massage the nose. One variation excludes Guixin.
Helile San (from *Shenghui Fang*), treating Lung deficiency with external wind-cold invasion, leading to nasal congestion, constant clear rhinorrhea, dizziness and headache, and limb dysfunction.

The above are ground into fine powder. After meals, take 1 qian with warm wine.

The above... [text missing here, implied pill making]. Mix with ginger juice to form pills. This formula treats conditions caused by cold brain. However, this disease can also be caused by hot brain or Lung cold. *Suwen* states: "When Gallbladder heat shifts to the brain, it causes Xin Bi Yuan (nasal sinusitis)."
