The acupuncture and moxibustion secrets of Huangdi (Yellow Emperor) and Qibo are clearly stated in other classics: The twelve meridians of the Three Yin and Three Yang, plus the two extraordinary vessels—the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) and Du Mai (Governing Vessel)—are collectively referred to as the Eight Extraordinary Vessels. The annotations of *Lingguang Fu* (Ode to Spiritual Light) are extremely profound; for lateral headache and frontal headache, one should reduce Lieque (LU 7). Jingming (BL 1) treats eye diseases and pterygium; Tinghui (GB 2) treats deafness and qi obstruction. For epistaxis caused by nasal congestion, needle Hegu (LI 19); for nasal obstruction and loss of smell, select Yingxiang (LI 20). To treat qi stagnation and upward rushing, select Zusanli (ST 36); Tiantu (CV 22) and Wanzhong (CV 15) treat asthma and phlegm; for heart pain and hand tremors, needle Shaohai (HT 3); Shaoze (SI 1) eliminates cold below the heart. For spasms of both legs, seek Yinshi (ST 33); Wei Zhong (BL 40) alleviates five types of lower back pain. If Shushu (BL 20) is unresponsive, reduce Qiuxu (GB 40); Fuliu (KI 7) treats edema like a divine physician; Dubi (ST 35) treats wind-cold pain; Kunlun (BL 60) stops asthma and relieves pain. Pain at the posterior heel is treated by seeking Pugen (BL 60). Chengshan (BL 57) treats muscle cramps and chronic hemorrhoids. Descending from the sole, seek Yongquan (KI 1); this method is worth a thousand gold and should not be transmitted lightly. This acupoint often treats women's diseases, curing both male gu disease (parasitic or wasting disease) and female pregnancy complications. Baihui (GV 20) and Jiutui (CV 14) treat dysentery; Dachangshu (BL 25) and Xiaochangshu (BL 27) treat urinary and fecal abnormalities; Qihai (CV 6) and Xuehai (SP 10) treat the five stranguries; Zhongwan (CV 12) and Xiawan (CV 13) treat abdominal hardness. Typhoid fever after the menstrual period is cured by selecting Qimen (LR 14); qi stabbing between the breasts seeks Taoyuan (LU 9); Dadun (LR 1) bilaterally treats inguinal hernia; Shuigou (GV 26) and Jianshi (PC 5) treat evil mania. To stop hemoptysis and calm asthma, tonify Chize (LU 5); Dicang (ST 4) can stop drooling from both corners of the mouth; Laogong (PC 8) treats physical fatigue; edema is immediately relieved by moxibustion on Shuifen (CV 9). For inability to extend the five fingers, select Zhongzhu (TE 3); Jiache (ST 6) can be moxed to cure toothache; Yin Qiao Mai (Yin Heel Vessel) and Yang Qiao Mai (Yang Heel Vessel) are located at the malleoli; for Hongjiao (foot qi disease), first seek these four acupoints; Yinlingquan (SP 9) and Yanglingquan (GB 34) also govern it; Yin Qiao, Yang Qiao, and Zusanli generally treat foot qi disease; the mystery in the waist must be correctly selected. Gaohuang (BL 43) does more than just treat a hundred diseases; when moxa achieves its mysterious efficacy, the illness must heal. Acupuncture at one point can remove multiple diseases; students should pay particular attention. Comprehend the flow-and-needle methods taught by enlightened masters: for head and eye disorders, needle the limbs. Needling involves tonification and reduction, coordinated with respiration; acupoints correspond to the Five Elements and follow the Four Seasons. Comprehend the creation within the human body; this song is merely a tool (fishing trap/rabbit snare) to grasp the meaning.

How many variations are there in Dan and Jie techniques? With Dan and Jie, one can rise above chronic ailments. I now chant this *Lanjiang Fu*, why use the songs of Three Carts and Five Spokes? First, establish the Eight Confluent Points as the standard, dividing the sequence within the Flowing-Needle system. Chest diseases are borne by Neiguan (PC 6); below the umbilicus, Gongsun (SP 4) is used to intercept. Head diseases must still seek Lieque (LU 7) for phlegm-fluid accumulation and dry throat. For lockjaw and wind-stroke, needle Zhaohai (KI 6); bleeding with a three-edged needle brings immediate relief. For exterior typhoid and headache, reducing Waiguan (TE 5) naturally brings peace. For various eye afflictions, Linqi (GB 41) must be used to bear the burden. Houxi (SI 3) specifically treats Governing Vessel diseases; for epilepsy and mania, this point alleviates symptoms; Shenmai (BL 62) removes cold and heat, lateral headaches, and palpitations. For tinnitus, epistaxis, and chest fullness, seek the golden needle at this point; when encountering itching, numbness, or deficiency, tonify; when encountering pain, reduce to welcome the pathogen. There is another true secret for treating typhoid: for Three Yin diseases, one must needle the Yang meridians. For anhidrosis, tonify Hegu (LI 4); reducing Fuliu (KI 7) is effective. If sweating is profuse and unceasing, tonifying Hegu is as effective as a god. On the fourth day, Taiyin disease requires careful differentiation; Gongsun (SP 4) and Zhaohai (KI 6) are used together; then apply the interception method with Neiguan (PC 6); on the seventh day, Qimen (LR 14) is used ingeniously. When treating typhoid using reduction, one must know that the *Suwen* (Basic Questions) states this clearly. Within the flow, creation is divided; one must constantly balance Water, Fire, Earth, and Metal. If Water number is deficient, tonify Lung; if Water overflows, Earth can level it. In spring and summer, well and Ying-spring points should be needled shallowly; in autumn and winter, Jing-river and He-sea points should be needled deeper. Heaven, Earth, and the Four Seasons share this numerical principle; the Three Powers (Heaven, Earth, Man) are commonly remembered in the mind; entering in the sequence of Heaven, Earth, and Man parts, regulate each part evenly. If the husband is weak and the wife strong, there is overcoming; if the wife is weak and the husband strong, there is punishment; all depend on Dan and Jie in the primary meridian; reducing South and tonifying North must also be understood. When meridians are clear, one knows creation; without master transmission, effort is wasted. Do not transmit to those who are not worthy; how can heavenly treasures be given to unworthy people? Press upon the patient's qi and blood according to their breathing; strike and rub dozens of times to support the needle; shake, lift, and rotate upward to guide; qi flows naturally, and the disease vanishes.
