Measure half a bowl of water in a tea cup, place in a silver pot. Decoct over high fire until it forms a mass the size of a chicken egg. Filter through cotton, wait for it to cool, and instill into eyes. Tested on several people with success. Also effective for food-induced nebula. Thus attached here, never failing in verification.
Buyang Tang (Supplement Yang Decoction): Treats Yang unable to overcome Yin, i.e., Yin excess and Yang deficiency, leading to blockage of the nine orifices. Currently, blue-white nebula is seen in the inner canthus and blocked in Foot-Taiyang and Foot-Shaoin meridians. Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian Qi cannot ascend, causing internal obstruction of blue-white nebula. One should act below the Nine Origins in Taiyang/Shaojin meridians, allowing Yang Qi from the Monitor Palace to rush upward. This first supplements Yang, then drains Fire from Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian at the Taiyang Mark (Head). Yin governs below Yang. *Neijing* states: In Yin excess/Yang deficiency, first supplement Yang, then drain Yin. This method is correct. Every morning, when the stomach is empty of residual food, take Buyang Tang. Before bed, take Yiyin Wan. If weather changes to extreme cold/heat or labor is heavy, and diet/spirit were previously unregulated, first supplement Yang so Qi ascends, connecting to the end of the Liver Meridian, bringing benefit.

It was passed down generations to Han Du Zixia and Jin Zuo Taichong. All these sages had eye ailments. Obtaining this prescription says: Reduce reading one, reduce thinking two, focus on inner vision three, simplify external observation four, rise late five, sleep early six.
