One or two days after birth, if the infant has no bowel movement or urination, and the abdomen is distended to the point of seeming lifeless, this is caused by the stagnation and closure of fetal toxin qi. Immediately instruct a woman to rinse her mouth with warm water, then suckle seven areas of the infant: the anterior chest, posterior back, below the umbilicus, and the palms and soles of both hands and feet. Suck each area five to seven times until the skin turns reddish. Once the qi dissipates, bowel movements will naturally resume; otherwise, rescue efforts are useless. Afterwards, administer the author's "Xiaohei Wan" (Little Black Pills) and "Congbai San" (Scallion White Powder). Take four cun of scallion white, pound it into a paste with human milk, apply it into the infant's mouth, feed with milk, induce vomiting, and then administer Danggui San.
