Jingji (Essence Exhaustion) disease generally refers to severe deficiency syndromes caused by pathological changes in the Five Zang and Six Fu organs. If the functions of the Five Zang and Six Fu organs decline, the physical body becomes extremely emaciated, vision becomes blurred, teeth become dry and brittle, and hair falls out.
Treatment for Jingji: When both the Five Zang and Six Fu organs are injured, presenting with generalized deficiency-heat throughout the body and vexing pain in the bone marrow, it is appropriate to administer Tianmendong San (Asparagus Root Powder).

The dregs are filtered out, and half he of Bamboo Juice (Zhuli) and one teaspoon of Honey (Fengmi) are added. Mix well and take warm.

Treatment for Jingji: When the Five Zang and Six Fu organs are weak and emaciated, joints present with vexing pain, and essence frequently leaks, it is appropriate to use this formula to tonify Qi and nourish the Spirit, preserve complexion, regulate blood vessels, and strengthen the body with long-term use.
Ingredients: Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata (Sheng Dihuang, 5 jin, selected high-quality roots crushed and juiced), Wine without Ash (Wuhui Jiu, 1 dou; boiled with the above ingredient in a silver pot over slow fire until it becomes a paste, then mixed with the following powdered herbs), Mantis Ootheca (Sangpiaoxiao, 1 liang, roasted, skin and navel removed), Cuscutae Semen (Tusizi, 1 liang, soaked in wine), Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi, 1 liang, heart removed), Schisandrae Fructus (Wuweizi, 1 liang, slightly yellow).
