Yinpi (Drinking Heterogeneity) is a condition caused by excessive water intake, where fluid stagnates in the hypochondriac region and fails to dissipate. When combined with an invasion of cold qi, it leads to pain, hence the name "Yinpi." The clinical manifestations include stiffness and tension in the hypochondriac region (often presenting as a wiry pulse), accompanied by audible splashing sounds of fluid, which are characteristic signs.
For treating Qi-level disorders due to Yinpi, characterized by hardness in the epigastrium resembling a cup, caused by fluid accumulation, use Guixin San (Cinnamon Heart Powder).
Ingredients: Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi, 3 fen), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, 1 liang), Xixin (Herba Asari, 1 liang), Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, 1 liang, processed, cracked, skin and umbilicus removed), Zhike (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, 3 fen, bran-fried until slightly yellow, pith removed), Binglang (Semen Arecae, 3 fen).
Process the above ingredients into a coarse powder. Take 5 qian per dose, decoct with 1 large bowl of water, adding 0.5 piece of Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) and 3 dates. Decoct until 0.5 portion remains, strain, and take warm. Administer 3-4 times daily.
For treating Yinpi with hardness and enlargement in the epigastrium resembling a cup, accompanied by intermittent pain, this formula is suitable.
Ingredients: Zhishi (Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, 2 liang, bran-fried until slightly yellow), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, 3 liang), Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi, 2 liang).

For treating Yinpi with stagnation in the chest, fullness and urgency below the umbilicus, vomiting and regurgitation, and inability to eat, use Xixin San (Asari Powder).
Ingredients: Xixin (Herba Asari, 1 liang), Banxia (Rhizoma Pinelliae Preparata, 1 liang, washed seven times in hot water to remove slipperiness), Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi, 1 liang), Chifuling (Poria Cum Radix Pini Rubra, 1 fen), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, 2 liang).
