夫禀形之类。须存摄养。将息失度。百病萌生。故四时代谢。阴阳递兴。此二气更相击

房室。死不旋踵。
一曰麻子疔。其状肉上起头。大如黍米。色稍黑。面边微赤。多痒。忌食麻子及衣布。
并入麻田中行。
二曰石疔。其状皮肉相连。色乌黑如黑豆。甚硬。刺之不入肉内。阴阳微痛。忌瓦砾砖
石之属。
三曰雄疔。其状 黑、头 、四畔仰。疮 浆起。有水出色黄。大如钱孔。形高。忌房
事
四曰雌疔。其状疮头稍黄。向里压。亦似灸疮。四畔 浆起。心凹色赤。大如钱孔。忌
房事。
五曰火疔。其状如汤火烧灼。疮黑 。四边有 。浆起如赤粟米。忌火灸烁。
六曰烂疔。其状色稍黑。有白瘢。疮中溃溃则有脓水流出。疮形大小如匙面。忌沸热食
烂帛物。
七曰三十六疔。其状头黑浮起。形如黑豆。四畔起大。赤色。今日生一。明日二。后日
三。乃至十。若满三十六。药所不能治。如未满三十六者可治。俗名黑 。忌嗔怒。蓄积愁
恨。
八曰蛇眼疔。其状疮头黑。皮上浮肿。其形如小豆状。似蛇眼大。体硬。忌恶眼看。并
嫉妒人见之、及毒药。
九曰盐肤疔。其大如匙面。四畔皆赤。有黑粟粒起。忌食咸物。
十曰水洗疔。其状大如钱形。或如钱孔大。疮头白里黑 。汁出中硬。忌饮浆水、水洗、
渡河。
十一曰刀镰疔。其状疮阔狭如薤叶大。长一寸。左侧肉黑。如烧灼。忌刺及刀镰切割。
针刃所伤。可以药治。
十二曰浮沤疔。其状疮体曲圆。少许不合。长而狭如薤叶大。肉黄外黑。黑处刺不痛。
肉黄处刺之则痛。
十三曰牛拘疔。其状肉 起。掐不破。
十四曰红丝疔。其状如红线。初起手足。渐渐引长。入腹则死。此疔治法最易。但于明
处仔细寻其红丝。以针挑断。着小艾炷。灸一壮无事。
十四种疮初起。必先痒后痛。先寒后热。热定则寒多。四肢沉重。头痛。心惊眼花。若
大重者则呕逆。呕逆者难治。其麻子疔一种。始末为痒。所录忌者不得犯触。犯触者即难疗。
其
万不失一。欲知犯触之状。但脊强、疮痛极甚。不可忍者是也。
夫疔疮者。以其疮形如钉盖之状者是也。气客于经络。五脏内蕴毒热。初生一头凹肿痛。
青黄赤黑。无复定色。便令烦躁闷乱。或憎寒头痛。呕吐心逆。以针刺疮。不痛无血。是其
候也。其候本因甘肥过度。不慎房酒。以邪毒蓄结。遂生疔疮。内经曰。膏粱之变足生大疔
此之谓也。其治之法。急于艾炷灸之。若不觉痛者。针疔四边。皆令血出。以回疮锭子从针
孔之。上用膏药贴之。仍服五香连翘汤、漏芦汤等药。疏下之为效。若或针之不痛无血者
以烧猛火铁针通赤。于疮上烙之。令如焦炭。取痛为效。亦 前锭子。用膏药贴之。经一
二日。脓溃根出。服托里汤散。根据常疗之。以取平复。如针不痛。其人眼黑。或见火光者。
不可治也。此邪毒之气入脏腑故也。养生方云。人汗入食肉。食之则生疔疮。不可不慎也。
疔肿者。由风邪毒瓦斯入于肌肉所生也。凡有十种。一者疮头乌而强凹。二者疮头白而种实。
三者疮头如豆 色。四者疮似葩红色。五者疮头内有黑脉。六者疮头赤红而浮虚。七者疮
头
汁出。里有赤黑脉而小肿。而有全不令人知。忽衣触手摸。着则痛。若故取不便处。亦有肉
突起如鱼眼之状。赤黑。惨痛彻骨。九结皆变至烂疮。疮下深孔如大针穿之状。疔疮含蓄毒
气
赤疔发于舌根。黄疔发于口唇。黑疔发于耳前。青疔发于目下。盖取五色之应五脏。各有所
属部位而已。然后肩或腰或足。发无定处。在手足头面骨节间者。最忌。大抵疮头黑。破如
钉。四畔带赤如火。盘根突起。随变焦黑。未几肿大而光。转为湿烂。深孔透肌。如大针穿
之状。外证心惊头痛。拘急恶寒。四肢痛强。或寒热交作。颊舌间赤黑。点点如珠。若毒入
腹心。则烦闷呕逆。恍惚痴眠。其毙可立待也。治法以调心气为上。盖疔疮蓄毒壅结于心。
如茯苓、茯神、远志、益智、莲子、石菖蒲之类。佐以川芎、当归。皆舒豁心经之剂也。心
气清。毒自消散。外所敷者。用销蚀恶肉辈。胆矾、绿矾、铅霜、斑蝥等类。以饼药调和而
笔敷之。烂其肉而后翦。随敷随烂。次第剪平。却以生发、蛇皮、土蜂窠、皂荚刺。各烧留
性。白芨减半。并为细末。以平疮口。或销蚀恶肉辈。敷之则疼。则以排脓内补散。多用酒
调以醉之。又有一种疮头黑深。形如鱼剂。破之黄水渗出。四畔浮浆。是曰鱼剂疔疮。其毒
尤甚。通前治法。即痈疽方中万疾解毒丸。以清心行血汤使服之。以井花水敷磨之。实为妙
药。
诸疮莫急于疔疮。有鱼眼疔。多发于足。非神手不能治也。大凡治疔疮先以披头针当头

All beings with physical forms must maintain proper preservation and nourishment. If regulation is lost, myriad diseases will arise. Therefore, as the four seasons change, Yin and Yang alternate in prosperity and decline. These two Qi (vital energies) strike against each other violently. Encountering them leads to discharge/diarrhea.
Generally, when treating Ding sores (carbuncles/furuncles), one must prick the center until pain is felt, then prick the four sides more than ten times to allow blood to flow. After removing the blood, apply medicine; it is best if the medicinal power enters through the needle holes. If not...
Moreover, such swellings tend to appear on the cheeks near the mouth or on the tongue. They are bright red-black like beads, causing severe pain that resonates with the heart. This results from cold toxins lingering in the skin during autumn and winter, transforming into this disease. If not treated immediately, the root grows day and night, flowing into various meridians, spreading rapidly like an arrow, invading the body and immobilizing the person. If one does not carefully regulate diet and sexual activity, death will occur swiftly.
The first is called Hemp Seed Ding (Mazi Ding). Its appearance is a protrusion on the flesh, size like a millet grain, slightly black in color, with slight redness around the face, often accompanied by itching. Avoid eating hemp seeds and wearing cloth clothes, and do not walk in hemp fields.
The second is called Stone Ding (Shi Ding). The skin and flesh are connected, the color is dark black like a black bean, very hard. It feels as if the needle cannot penetrate the flesh, with slight pain in both Yin and Yang channels. Avoid contact with gravel, bricks, and stones.
The third is called Male Ding (Xiong Ding). Its shape is... black, head..., rising on all four sides. Pustules form with yellow fluid exuding, size like a coin hole, high shape. Avoid sexual intercourse.
The fourth is called Female Ding (Ci Ding). The sore head is slightly yellow, pressing inward. It also resembles a moxibustion sore, with pustules forming on all four sides, the center depressed and red, size like a coin hole. Avoid sexual intercourse.
The fifth is called Fire Ding (Huo Ding). Its shape resembles being scalded by boiling water, the sore is black..., with edges having..., pustules resembling red millet grains. Avoid moxibustion or burning.
The sixth is called Rotting Ding (Lan Ding). The color is slightly black, with white scars. The sore ulcerates and pus flows out. The sore shape is the size of a spoon surface. Avoid hot food and rotten silk fabrics.
The seventh is called Thirty-Six Ding (San Shi Liu Ding). The head is black and floating, shaped like a black bean, surrounded by large red swelling. One appears today, two tomorrow, three the day after, up to ten. If it reaches thirty-six, medicine cannot cure it. If less than thirty-six, it can be treated. Commonly known as Black.... Avoid anger and harboring resentment.
The eighth is called Snake Eye Ding (She Yan Ding). The sore head is black, with superficial skin swelling, shaped like a small bean, size like a snake eye, hard texture. Avoid evil eyes, jealousy from others, and poisonous drugs.
The ninth is called Salt Skin Ding (Yan Fu Ding). Size like a spoon surface, all four sides red, with black millet-like grains protruding. Avoid salty foods.
The tenth is called Water Wash Ding (Shui Xi Ding). Size like a coin or coin hole. The sore head is white inside and black outside, fluid exudes and becomes hard in the middle. Avoid drinking fermented rice water, washing with water, or crossing rivers.
The eleventh is called Knife Sickle Ding (Dao Lian Ding). The sore width is like a leek leaf, one cun long. The left side flesh is black, as if burned. Avoid pricking, cutting with knives/sickles, or injury by needles/blades. Can be treated with medicine.
The twelfth is called Floating Bubble Ding (Fu Ou Ding). The sore body is curved and round, slightly incomplete, long and narrow like a leek leaf. Flesh is yellow outside and black inside; pricking the black area causes no pain, while pricking the yellow area causes pain.
The thirteenth is called Cow Contraction Ding (Niu Ju Ding). The flesh... protrudes, cannot be broken by pinching.
The fourteenth is called Red Thread Ding (Hong Si Ding). Resembles a red thread. Initially appears on hands and feet, gradually lengthening. If it enters the abdomen, death ensues. This type is easiest to treat. Carefully locate the red thread in a bright place, prick and break it with a needle, place a small moxa cone, and burn one moxa dose (zhuang) to resolve it.
For the fourteen types of sores, onset is characterized by itching before pain, chills before fever. After the fever settles, chills predominate. Limbs feel heavy, headache occurs, heart palpitations and blurred vision appear. If severe, vomiting and regurgitation occur, which are difficult to treat. Among these, Mazi Ding is characterized by itching throughout. Do not violate the recorded taboos; violation makes treatment difficult. ... One in ten thousand success rate. To know the signs of violation: stiff spine and extreme unbearable sore pain.
Ding sores are named for their shape resembling a nail cover. Pathogenic Qi lodges in the collaterals, and toxic heat accumulates internally within the five Zang organs. Initially, a single head appears, depressed and swollen/painful, with colors of green, yellow, red, or black, lacking fixed hue, causing irritability and confusion, or aversion to cold with headache, vomiting, and nausea. Pricking the sore yields no pain and no blood; this is the sign. The origin lies in excessive consumption of rich/greasy foods, imprudence in sex and alcohol, leading to accumulation of pathogenic toxins, thus generating Ding sores. The *Neijing* states: "Changes from rich foods are sufficient to produce major Ding sores," referring to this. Treatment urgently requires moxibustion with cones. If painless, prick the four sides of the Ding to bleed, insert the Hui Chuang Ding Zi (Sore-Returning Pill) into the needle hole, and cover with plaster. Administer Wuxiang Liaoqiao Tang (Five-Spice Forsythia Decoction) or Loulu Tang (Euphorbia Decoction), promoting purgation for effect. If pricking yields no pain/blood, use a red-hot iron needle to cauterize the sore until charred, aiming for pain sensation. Also... [insert] the previous pill, cover with plaster. After one to two days, pus drains and root emerges; administer Tuoli Tang San (Support-Interior Powder) and treat according to standard protocols for recovery. If pricking is painless, eyes turn black, or visions of fire light occur, it is incurable. This indicates pathogenic toxin has entered the Zang-Fu organs. Health preservation texts warn: Human sweat falling into meat, if eaten, generates Ding sores; one must be cautious.
Ding swellings arise from wind-pathogen toxins entering the muscles. There are ten types. One: sore head is dark/black and strongly depressed. Two: sore head is white and solid. Three: sore head is bean-colored. Four: sore resembles flower-red. Five: black veins inside the sore head. Six: sore head is red and floating/empty. Seven: ...fluid exudes, inner red/black veins with slight swelling, sometimes unnoticed until clothing touches or hand grasps, causing pain. If deliberately located in inconvenient places, flesh may protrude like a fish eye, red-black, agonizing bone-penetrating pain. Nine knots all transform into rotting sores, deep holes below the sore like a large needle piercing. Ding sores contain toxic Qi.
Red Ding arises at the tongue root, Yellow Ding at the lips, Black Ding before the ears, Green Ding under the eyes. This corresponds to the five colors matching the five Zang organs, each belonging to specific areas. Then shoulders, waist, or feet, arising without fixed location. Those occurring in joints of hands, feet, head, and face are most taboo. Generally, the sore head is black, breaks like a nail, surrounded by red如火 (like fire), roots protrude, turning dark/black quickly, then swelling and shining, becoming wet and rotting, deep holes penetrating muscle, like a large needle piercing. External symptoms: heart fright, headache, stiffness, aversion to cold, limb pain/stiffness, alternating chills and fever, red-black spots on cheeks/tongue like beads. If toxin enters abdomen/heart: irritability, vomiting, delirium, drowsy sleep, death imminent. Treatment prioritizes regulating Heart Qi. Since Ding sores accumulate toxin obstructing the Heart, use Poria (Fuling), Spirit Poria (Fushen), Polygala (Yuanzhi),益智 (Yizhi), Lotus Seed (Lianzi), Acorus (Shichangpu), assisted by Ligusticum (Chuanxiong) and Angelica (Danggui), all soothing the Heart channel. Clear Heart Qi, toxin dissipates. Topical application uses agents to destroy foul flesh: Alum (Danfan), Green Vitriol (Lvfan), Lead Frost (Qianshuang), Mustard Beetle (Banmao), etc., mixed with cake medicine and applied with a brush. Let flesh rot then cut away. Apply sequentially until flat. Then use Hair (Shengfa), Snake Skin, Earth Bee Nest, Gleditsia Spine (Zaojia Ci), each calcined retaining nature, with Bletilla (Baiji) halved, ground to fine powder to level the sore. Or if destroying foul flesh causes pain, use Pai Nong Nei Bu San (Drain Pus Support Interior Powder), mixed with wine to intoxication. Another type: sore head black/deep, shaped like fish slice, breaking reveals yellow fluid, surrounding floating pulp, called Fish Slice Ding. Toxicity is severe. General treatment includes Wan Ji Jie Du Wan (Ten-Thousand Disease Detoxifying Pill) from Carbuncle/Fistula formulas, taken with Qing Xin Xing Xue Tang (Clear Heart Promote Blood Decoction), applied with well water. Truly a miraculous medicine.
Among all sores, none are more urgent than Ding sores. Fish Eye Ding often occurs on feet, treatable only by divine physicians. Generally, treat Ding sores by first pricking the head with Pi Tou Zhen (Split-Head Needle)... Below. Sore ulcerates... then sore... comes out... Frankincense... and heals.
Silk Sore Syndrome (Si Chuang Zheng) is a type of Ding sore. If doctors do not recognize it, there is no treatment, harming people fastest. Sores appear between hands/feet, with yellow blisters, purple inside... Treat... Not...
