If sweating is induced, cold and dampness combine, the exterior becomes more deficient, and aversion to cold worsens; after sweating, if the pulse moves like a snake, suddenly becoming large and long, it indicates impending resolution; if the pulse remains unchanged, or is hidden and wiry, it indicates unresolved disease.
