If all five Zang organs are hot, carbuncles, boils, and sores will arise. It also treats five types of hemorrhoids, with swelling and pain in the anus, or fresh blood in the stool.
Coptidis Rhizoma (Cleaned) Scutellariae Radix (Cleaned) Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (each 10 liang)
Grind the above herbs into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to make pills, sized like Sophora japonica seeds. Take 30 pills each time, swallowed with warm water after meals. Adjust dosage according to the deficiency or excess of the Zang-Fu organs. It is also suitable for children with accumulated heat. (Another prescription uses Borneolum Syntheticum and Moschus as coating, pills sized like beans, held in the mouth at night to dissolve one or two pills, which is also effective.)

Grind the above herbs into a fine powder. Take 2 qian each time, add one cup of water and 100 grains of Oryza sativa var. japonica, decoct, and take after meals. Yilao (Zhang Yuansu) adds Coptidis Rhizoma. Haicang (Zhang Yuansu's disciple) says: To treat bone-steaming fever transmitted from Lung Heat, it is appropriate to use this formula to directly purge it. Using Gardeniae Fructus and Scutellariae Radix can purge Lung Fire, but differentiation should be made based on Qi and Blood.
Liangge San Treats accumulated heat in adults and children, causing irritability, excessive thirst, facial heat, dry lips, dry throat, swollen tongue, throat obstruction, red eyes, epistaxis, hardness in the jaw and cheeks, sores in the mouth and tongue, delirium and madness, dryness and astringency of the intestines and stomach, constipation of urine and feces, restless sleep, and all conditions of Wind-Heat congestion.

Grind the above herbs into a coarse powder. Take 1 liang of the mixture, add two cups of water and seven leaves of Bambusa vulgaris var. spinosa, decoct until one cup remains, strain, add a little honey, and take after meals. Decocting with ginger is also acceptable. To remove heat from the Six Meridians, reduce Rhei Radix et Rhizoma and Mangnitis Sulfas, and add Platycodonis Radix, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Ginseng Radix, and Saposhnikoviae Radix. For pathogenic heat in the Lung Meridian with cough and phlegm, add Pinelliae Rhizoma. Taking half dose of Liangge San and half dose of Siwu Tang together nourishes blood and purges heat, named Shuanghe San. Qianyi removes Forsythiae Fructum and adds Agastachis Herba and Gypsum Fibrosum to create Xiehuang San.
