Note: Text says Shu Jiao, likely Piper Longum/Fructus Piperis Longi or similar spicy herb, usually Hua Jiao is Sichuan Pepper, Shu Jiao might be a variant or typo for Hua Jiao/Sichuan Pepper in some contexts, but strictly translating as Shu Jiao/Long Pepper if distinct, however standard TCM often uses Hua Jiao. Given context of warming, likely Long Pepper or Sichuan Pepper. I will use Fructus Piperis Longi / Long Pepper as literal Shu Jiao often refers to Long Pepper, though sometimes confused. Let's stick to literal translation or common equivalent. Actually, Shu Jiao usually refers to Fructus Piperis Longi. Wait, standard is Hua Jiao. I will translate as Fructus Piperis Longi (Long Pepper)). *Correction*: In many ancient texts, Shu Jiao might refer to Hua Jiao (Sichuan Pepper). I will use Fructus Zanthoxyli (Sichuan Pepper) as it is more common in these formulas, or note the ambiguity. Let's use Fructus Piperis Longi (Long Pepper) for strict accuracy to "Shu", but acknowledge it might be Sichuan Pepper. Actually, looking at *Qian Jin*, it often lists Hua Jiao. I will translate as Fructus Piperis Longi (Long Pepper) based on character, but functionally similar. Let's use Fructus Piperis Longi (Long Pepper)).
