Shao (Right side) Abdominal fullness and discomfort, with a sensation of痞 (stagnation/fullness) and distension in the Zhongwan area; this is Liver Qi stagnating in the Stomach. The nipple belongs to the Liver channel, while the breast belongs to the Stomach channel. Qi stagnation in the Stomach collaterals leads to the formation of nodules in the breast. Qi stagnation generates fire, causing continuous internal heat; the throat hurts intermittently, and masses appear on the knees. These are all manifestations of excess Qi and Fire, either flaring upwards or wandering through the collaterals. The pulse is wiry and rapid, which is also a sign of hyperactive Wood (Liver). Although the symptoms are numerous, treatment must focus on the key aspects. As stated in the *Neijing* (Classic of Internal Medicine), "Excess Qi becomes Fire." It is appropriate to harmonize both the Liver and Stomach, allowing the Qi mechanism to circulate freely, so that the stagnant heat will naturally recede.

Re-examination: Breast pain and distension have slightly decreased. This indeed confirms Jueyin Qi and Fire stagnating in the Stomach collaterals.

Shi (Right side) Breast pain and distension, dry throat, nausea, and a glossy tongue coating without moss. This indicates Liver Qi stagnating in the Stomach collaterals, accompanied by hidden consumption of Yin fluids.

Re-examination: Nodules in the breast cause pain and distension. Treatment should involve soothing the Liver Wood to harmonize the Qi mechanism.

Re-examination: Breast pain and distension; the mass moves upon pushing. This is Jueyin Qi carrying Phlegm, stagnating in the Stomach collaterals.

Re-examination: The nodule has not resolved. Liver Qi carries Phlegm, obstructing the Stomach collaterals. Continue to soothe and harmonize the Liver and Stomach.

Zhang (Right side) Liver Wood Qi is unbalanced and rampant, extending from the chest and epigastrium to the breasts, causing unbearable pain and distension. The disease location is in the Liver and Stomach. Proceed with further dredging and unblocking.

Yang (Right side) Swelling in the lower legs and shins has subsided, and the breast nodules have softened slightly. The stagnation of Qi is clearly visible. However, as Qi is the commander of Blood, there is a fear that blood stasis due to Qi stagnation may lead to the formation of abscesses and pus.

Qian (Right side) Pulse and symptoms are stable. Nodules in both breasts cause occasional mild distension; menstruation is delayed, scanty, and choppy. This is Qi stagnation leading to disharmony in the Ying (Nutritive) level. Proceed to regulate Qi and harmonize Ying.
